Unfortunately the reception position wasn’t as engaging as I thought it would be but i think that’s just a personal preference , but the problems with the actual environment was definitely toxicity and gossiping in the workplace. 
It was a uncomfortable and judgemental place to work. 

Everything explained prior to starting the position wasn’t followed through on such as training , support when needing help , pay , position ( I kept being moved ) , generally a really unorganised place lacking actual open communication.

But the worst part was the anti feminist comments made towards myself from my boss (unfortunately I think due to insecurity) none the less it was a very unpleasant and unprofessional environment. 


Liaise with both tenants and landlords solving any issues along the way.  Carrying out house inspections for the 160 tenants we managed within a 50km radius. I thoroughly enjoyed the worked and as this was my first time in the role I learnt so many skills.  I was able to utilise my communication skills when liaising with tenants, landlords and tradesmen on a daily basis.  We had a great group of girls in our department and got along very well, helping each other out when ever necessary.  The most enjoyable part of the job was satisfactorily solving the many issues that arose.  The hardest part of my role was having to breach tenants when they had done things wrong.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The area and conditions of the job were great.
Loved interacting with guests getting feedback to make properties better.
The office had a great atmosphere to work in.

In peak season it was very busy with good and testing times.

Very relaxed but expectations were expected 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Answering phone calls checking guests in and out of properties

Very busy answering phones. Sorting out and resoving problems. I have learnt alot about tenants rights and realestate regulations. Time management is an important part of the day because of the multiude of tasks that need to be done. My co-workers are great to work with and we all help one another out. The hardest part of the job is time management and the most enjoyable is being creative i.e. sales booklet displaying, and rental displaying.

Worked at First National as a Property Manager for a very short period. This office is run by a narcissist with a sordid history of bullying his staff. The office itself is a complete shambles. Absolutely no staff culture. Felt sick going to work every day. Constant staff turn over.

Working as a receptionist ist for First National Real Estate was great, it was faced-paced and even as a receptionist I found I was mostly on my feet rather then behind a desk. I would answer phones and send emails but would also be working with filing and working with fellow employees.

First National real estate The Entrance is a family owned and operated agency with a positive influence on the town. Specialising in property sales, property managment and strata management. The staff are helpful and friendly.

I was satisfied with the payment and it was a harmonious workplace, but it's far from Swinburne where I am doing research studying currently, so I'm thinking change to another job which is more related with my future carwee.

This company has an amazing culture and offers numerous opportunities for growth. I've observed many colleagues advancing through different roles and accessing continuous learning opportunities.

Usual working hours. if required, there are some saturdays that are required due to the industry. Constantly changing and evolving business environment.
