Depending on the time of the day a typical lunch would be very chill mostly regulars that come in. A lot of takeaway orders. Its the time to get all the food prep done. At dinner well this can get a bit more exciting. The dinner rush is mainly between 6 and can go until 9:00 pm. Our customers are some of the nicest people I've ever meet so its always such a great time. 
Whenever I am working I always learn something new, whether it be a new meal that's been put on the menu or something as simple as how to pronounce a name of something. I have definitely accumulated a lot of skills that I can take onto other jobs. 
My co-workers are all so different some great personalities. We are like a big family when everyone is happy. There are of course ups and downs in any work place but a majority of the time we are laughing about some of the silliest things. 
I honestly cant think of the hardest part about working, its the best job I have ever had. I guess its frustrating when you have an off day, nothing seems to be going right, its like a chain reaction when one thing goes wrong it mixes in with everything else. The best part though is no matter what the people that I work with i know are always going to be there to catch me when I fall (that's not literally falling.) Its one of those places that doesn't even feel like work, its like a second home.

My experience working at Fasta Pasta was extremely disappointing. From the start, I received no proper training, yet they expected me to know everything immediately. Instead of guiding me, the managers and senior staff spoke in another language about me, making me feel isolated and unwelcome. Communication was terrible, and whenever I asked for help, I was met with impatience.

The pay was unfair for the workload, and I was often expected to take on tasks beyond my role without compensation. The work environment was stressful, with management showing little respect for their staff. It felt like they prioritized efficiency over employee well-being.

Overall, I would not recommend working here. The lack of training, poor treatment from management, and unfair pay made it a toxic workplace. Employees deserve to feel supported and respected, and unfortunately, that was not my experience at Fasta Pasta.

A typical day at work would see me and my co workers set the tables and chairs up, be constantly: greeting/ sitting customers, serving food, cleaning tables, and doing other various jobs. The management was great and would always be open to us growing and learning as wait staff. The workplace culture was serious when needed, however, enjoyable for all staff and management, as we remained at all times respectful and fun. The hardest part of the job was the pack down at the end of a long day. However, we all chipped in and got it done. The most enjoyable part of the job was serving customers as this is what I perceive to be my greatest asset to a team.

While I can only speak for the Browns Plains and Redbank stores, the co-workers are an amazing lot with a great sense of humour and are great to talk to about anything. They are all very friendly, even the management, and know where to draw the line between having a chat and working. 

Everyone is also super helpful with anything you need. I would definitely recommend this position for anyone wanting to get into the hospitality industry.

After almost 3 years working for Fasta Pasta, I still enjoy going to shifts and working in a positive and fast paced environment with workmates whom I have become close with. The duties involved are simple to learn and not very strenuous - making them able to be performed under pressure and time constraints.

A typical day at work involved me serving patrons various dishes. I also did standard kitchen tasks, such as cleaning etc. I was supervised by an older chef. My co-workers were very jovial and hardworking. The hardest part of my job was to learn all the methods and techniques. The most enjoyable part of my job was the close relations with my co-workers.

great for a first job and work to study balance is good, they are understanding if you need time off for illness or high school requirements

has short shifts which is good for high school students meaning can do homework an work whilst being able to get to bed early

I so loved working with Joe and the team at Fasta Pasta! They are absolute angels! Everyone there made me feel very welcome even after I spilt wine on one of the costumers on my second shift and I cried for ages but they all came and made sure I was okay! Would defiantly recommend this workplace!

A typical day at work was fun and full on some times. I learned how to work on the floor and in the back. The hardest part of the job was that I did front of house and it was quite difficult because we did not have a practice before the day.
