Many positive and negative aspects of my time working in FarmFoods. Co-workers are friendly at all times and are very supportive in terms of making sure you are comfortable during your working hours at the business and are open to any help that is needed. Management is biased within the business as relationship is what determines how you are treated. 
What I have learned during the short course is that communication is extremely important when working in the business because any misinterpretation can lead to some work being missed due to communication being weak between certain employees. A typical day is simple: arrive at work, get assigned a task to complete and after completion get set another task, which is repeated until your shift ends. A break is provided halfway during the shift and is 30 mins.

Farmfoods is a friendly working environment with employees constantly helping out one another if in need of help. Manager treats everyone equally, new and old employees, with no exceptions whatsoever. What I learned from my time in Farmfoods is that you have to be quick and smart when working to increase the productivity and get things done quicker, saving time. The enjoyable part was a team project where several employees were put into different groups, which helped me improve my relationship with employees that I never talked to before. Only thing I disliked was every couple of weeks all employees were to attend the store from 9pm to 2am in the morning, whether or not you have had a shift before that, counting stocks and cleaning the store.

I've worked some pretty horrible places and Farmfoods is a breath of fresh air!
You're expected to work fast and accurately....but same at other places.
But the people are totally great who I work with....it's a pleasure seeing them at work.
The only thing I'm not so keen and may be a problem at some point  is the short notice of shifts and varying hours. There are no set hours or days so you have to wait for the rota which sometimes is only 2- 3 weeks ahead. In some ways varying shifts has its advantages but I would prefer to have set shifts at a suitable time. This is the only thing that can be a bit frustrating but everything else far far outweighs this.

Not a good company to work for, senior management are good at listening to problems but not good at hearing what you say. They promise to help improve but don't actually do anything but blame the workers for problems rather than fixing them. 
Senior management make it impossible to do the job as they keep adding more to do while reducing the amount of staff to fix problems. 
Training is impossible to do as lack of staff to do normal work so you can do your training 

Managers don’t care about the student employees - despite the fact that they practically run the store. Managers don’t take into account that employees (especially students) have other commitments and can’t work 40 hours a week while studying full time or having other priorities. The pay is not worth stacking and moving food items for 6+ hours. Managers show favouritism in the workplace and preach about professionalism but do not maintain it themselves.

Management have 0 patience 
Underpaid for the amount of work you do
Relatives of management coming in being rude to saying harmful and abusive things towards staff below management when they think you cant hear them. 
Even the managers appear to be lost/ not have a clue what they’re doing. 
Anyone above management that comes in clearly only care about making money not their staff.

2 of the management are not good managers they treat the store like its secondary school really incompetent apart from that the other staff were okay to work with

Literally worked here for a week before they decided to let me go as old employees came back. They put me on a 40 hour week despite contractual only working part time hours. Didn’t care for my hours and made me feel guilty for have sick time off. Staff are rude and lack of security is concerning and the pay is disgusting for anyone under 21. 


I worked so hard for this company and didn't get far, they favor there own people and use you to the max.
The staff and customers were a pleasure to work with and for.
The managers were horrible.
The job was easy but they make you do so much more and the hardest jobs that eventually it tires you out and its not worth it.

Worst company I've worked for, 
No work life balance, management are useless, not helpful but quick to moan at you, branch manager very unprofessional, 2 faced, like a gossiping school girl, a bit like mean girls (if you know you know)
They need a shake up with management, and treat staff better then they would stay, instead they have a high turn over of staff because no one wants to stay
