Fairfield Hospital

I was working as an AIN at Fairfield Hospital, causal position. I was a student nurse and this was my very first official job. The head office that was incharged of AIN casuals were very friendly, helpful and made sure you were okay. There was always a day where I could go to work, they always had shifts for me according to my schedule. They were very flexible with my schedule. I learned and gained a lot of confident as a nurse whilst working for Fairfield Hospital. It was very multicultural, yet mostly elderly were in the hospital. The hardest part of the job was language barriers to non-English speakers, sometimes it was very hard to communicate. The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing my patients happy, even though they are in hospital, but to see them smile and happy, made my day easier.

Fairfield Hospital is a great place to work. The team of occupational therapists are highly productive in treating clients. The therapies are client-based, helping all to reach desired and individual goals in accordance with each individuals level of functioning.

Each staff member shared their knowledge and allowed me to develop many nursing skills to complete my course. Not everyone i came across was friendly but work ethic was strong so there was no disagreements or fall outs. The workplace culture was the most enjoyable part of the entire 2 years.

Not to much to say here.
I had a boss that hated me and everyday for 5 years was full of anxiety.
I use to feel sick everyday.
I worked with some fabulous people that are still my friends today.
That is the positive side of that job.
It also doesn't mean that it is all bad and that others will have the same experience as me.

Exceptional patient health service with holistic approach. Young allied health dynamic with great support and in-house tutorials & CPD. Senior staff very approachable and supportive of continued education & learning. Challenging but rewarding caseload.

Everything is very fare and fine. Staff is very cooperative and friendly. Very comfortable place for work. Manager very nice and friendly and provide easy way to work. I really feel very happy to work there

Nice place to work. Bed wise it is a smaller hospital so you get to know most people depending on where you work. Parking for staff not so great though. First in best spot otherwise you could be walking a far way

Too much office politics but good parking facilities and also good perks working here. Management comes and go - difficult to get replacement. Ok for a permanent government job. 

very repetitive work nothing new to look forward to each day just the same thing. could be some changes every now and then but nothing to look forward to as said

The hospital is very busy and has alot of patients coming through all the time. 
Does have its friendly side but has alot if bullying. 
Management is no help and can be hostile at times.
