I wouldn’t say it was stressful

Culture is good, work environment is okay

Very busy.  
If you are diligent, organised, work to a schedule, ensure you are delivering a high standard of customer service than you day will run effortlessly

Pay day and time was inconsistent.

Colleagues were mostly friendly.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Retail, administrative, cleaning, bed making/stripping duties.

In this roll I learned a lot of experience mainly independence because I was left with no support and to manage things on my own, a lot of toxicity and gossip between employees, management is horrendous and I didn’t have enough support. Don’t expect any promises.

Great people and relaxed atmosphere with understanding staf
Improvement needed at the point of sale in relation to specific delivery details e.g. staircase & entry dimensions & relevant assembly information given at point of sale

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the company. I had never been in strict retail before, so I had a lot to learn, which I did. It was only a team of 5 who worked there, so my duties were many and varied. My main role was customer service, but I also did ordering, book work, accounts and kept the showroom floor neat and tidy.

You are just a person to fill a shift. No care or compassion for staff even if dedicated to the business.. even long term staff 10 plus years. Owner just starts the gossip  and feeds it through the store. 

Enjoyed working here.  The staff were great to work with and the Management Fantastic.
Enjoyed my role of managing the store merchandising and purchasing of stock.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time @Fort Winks. Very physical job once you know what the customer has purchased has to go up another flight.😭😭😭
The rest of the staff there were very polite, easy to get along with, very good.

Not a lot of autonomy or freedom to make decisions.

promotions based on who you are not what you can offer
poor culture

Some days could be slow but there was always jobs needing to be completed so you were busy majority of the time, it was a great learning curve and helps put your foot in the door
