My role was enjoyable whilst challenging due to numerous areas of inefficiency within the company however as new initiatives were implemented and results reflected the positive change this provided great satisfaction and drive to continue.
Management were supportive of the changes however due to downturn in the market conditions there was a change in culture and the management support network deteriorated.
Much was learned within the mining sector from understanding customer requirements to delivering best practice under at times difficult conditions.

a woking day in ACC cement plant inlcude, recieving new job requests from inspectors, Production, or mechanical teams, start immediately prepare resources, manpower, spare parts, special tools, external contractors, i also add the schedule start date, make a list of ready to be executed jobs, plan for assets shutdowns and preventive maintenance stoppages, i also has to work on preparing strategic spare parts, create statistics and forcasts for spare parts requirements, prepare annual budget, also coordinate and hold meetings to align tasks and jobs between various teams.

Shift work, boring, no career progression, super toxic environment. Management belittle and ignore the experience of their employees. Yes men get promoted high within the organisation. No employee respect even after 10 years of service.

Plus side, you don't have to care about work ethic to much because no one else does, and the regular paycheck is nice.

I had a lot of opportunities to learn about various products. The team I worked with was very welcoming and helpful. The branch manager was an understanding person. There were great learning opportunities within the company. The merger with FLSmidth caused a lot of imbalance and retrenchment, which led to the shutdown of Adelaide office and all of us losing our jobs.

FL Smidth has a very negative work environment, it has unresolved bullying issues where many staff have quit due to management not caring, multiple unexplained instances where staff are let go with no reasoning, poor management and the list goes on...

This company has Intelligent brains who provides intelligent mining solutions in terms of providing mining machines like jaw crusher, rod mill, ovens and many more for the mining solutions. it includes designing and production at the company site and delivering them to mining sites as per requirement.

Advertisements weren’t accurate for the job.
Pay worked out to be trash. As weekend travel and public holiday work/travel isn’t compensated appropriately. Same with project work. Night shift loading is lowest I’ve ever received. 
Zero training.
Poor work life balance.
Overall disappointing job.

Large company with top level HR and OH&S Policies and friendly office/workshop environment.

The business is very diverse and has the ability to relocate states or countries within the business and change roles if desired.

Enjoyed the challenges offered to me but often let down by lack of business strategy. Poor leadership by senior management.
