FAMILY LIFE

The most enjoyable part of the job is the gratification in being apart of families growing and developing in the wellbeing of functioning within the community and the difference Family Life made on the lives the children in modelling the next generation to be better caring families.

My co-workers and management were inspirational and motivated in their roles which is extremely rewarding shown in morale and your own personal growth and development.

I need to get back to the bush for a while.
I am handy with most things except for fencing, tractors, machinery.

My mum will be 91 in November, doing well, but I don't want to be more than 6 hour drive from Sydney if possible.

Born Orange Base Hospital, brought up on property with sheep till about 11 and then Herefords, have licence, OK with hay bails, dips, drenching, etc. Love gardening and will put my hand to anything if explained / taught to me.

Never worked for another company before, so no references.

I do not have a work experience in a office environment but church and family, Yes I do, which I enjoy being around people, doing every activities/responsibility I encounter. I enjoy getting things organise and seeing task done and complete within the time frame. I also enjoy learning new skills when working with the team. My most enjoyable part of the job is seeing the job gets done before time.

I enjoyed working for my family however i decided to stop because i noticed that i needed to make time for myself and be away from the family for a bit not that i dont  hate them i guess i was with the 24/7 and that was to much i enjoy walking early i the morning to the beach to spend time on myself and reflect back on my life and what i can do better to make my paretns proud of me

I'm a bit unsure if I have done this correctly.
I have been a stay at home mum since 2008 and have loved being apart of my children's life when they have been little.
But in our next chapter I am looking forward to helping my family with an income and to be active and reliable in any job opportunity that I am able to have.

I have worked as a volunteer in Family Life Op shop and it was really nice. The manager is really good and let me decorate the store by myself which really gave me more confident about my choice and ideas. Coworkers are really warm and friendly. Thank you Family Life for being so nice to me.

The culture is very accepting and kind, everyone from management  and down are approachable and assisting. I feel very valued and and part of the team, even though I am a volunteer.

Great environment. Even though this was a volunteer position, the benefits of wonderful pre loved items at great prices made up for the lack of payment.
