Daily posting of payments into cashbooks and entering into Kerridge   System;
Liaising with Credit Control regarding cash receipts and Purchase Ledger for Creditors Payments;
Input of payment instructions into the online payment system;
Analysis of accounts to ensure that accounts do not go overdrawn, and that there are sufficient funds in the correct accounts;
Reporting of daily bank balances and forecasting of funding requirements;
Weekly reconciliation of Bank Statements to cashbooks;
Working to strict month end reporting deadlines;
Posting cheques received onto various ledger accounts, payable accounts and receivables accounts;
Reconcile the bank statements for each branch on a daily to weekly basis – Bank, PDQ, Amex;
Final month-end reconciliation to be done for each branch reconciling the un-presented report back to the system;
Liaising with the bank daily basis concerning rejected payments, account queries and improvement of general payment procedure;
All refund cheques requests received from branches should be checked raised and then authorise;
Entries to be made on Nominal Ledger for Refund cheques;
Assist Branch Managers on any queries arising related to cash and bank matters;
Assist the Treasury Manager in covering absence of colleagues and on ad hoc projects as required;

I have been a drive for European car parts for 2 years. Enjoyed it to start with as it was different to other jobs I'd had. Over the last 15 months, I have grown to seriously hate this place and for many reasons. It's very clicky, management has favourites. Certain people can slack on their role and nothing gets said where as others only have to walk in the building and get demanding around. The hours are long!! Even when it's not your Saturday you're asked to do it. Now euros are open Sundays it's the same with that. We get a 40 minute break all day. Non smokers certain drawer the short straw here. For what little we are paid we are treated like utter RUBBISH I seriously advise people to steer clear of this company unless you enjoy being treated with NO respect. We as drivers are tracked, have cameras and telematics. It's worse than big brother. AVOID!!!!!! To add to that majority of employees here seem to be on a power trip.

a very clicky place to work if your new, lots a backstabbing from other members of staff with a blame culture that is through the roof.
Management/office staff only care about one thing - Targets !!!!
Dont expect to get your 40min lunch break,as there is never enough vans/drivers and your also expected to wash your van during this time. Although management would never admit to expecting you to do so.
Overtime is unpaid and expect to give up a few hours a week of your own time, also there is no sick pay !!!
Asking for a day off/holiday entitlement is a joke and your requests just get ignored.
I wouldnt set foot in that place if you paid me double

At the start I made some great friends, we was all like family even to a personal level. But after new management things really started to change. All warehouse staff, drivers and DC started getting stressed and fed up. All being grinded down to last thread. The sales team are the only fully appreciated ones there because they make money. Everybody else is ragged around with no breaks, drivers are pretty much forced to break road laws and have to drive vans unfit for use. I can go on about everything wrong but all I can say is if you want to risk your life driving a dangerous van while being miss treated and working constant unpaid overtime with fake promises this is the job for you

I really enjoying working in ECP but now looking for some new change..I have learnt so many things like ADP k8 I used first time when I joined this company and how to work in such a big finance department. it's really helps when you work with so many people so you can exchange your knowledge and thoughts at the same time. I never felt anything hard for me there because I think I really enjoy my work so when you enjoy doing your work you will never feel the burden for the same.

On arrival at work i would check the van over that i would be driving, for wear on tyres,oil,lights worked etc. I would then be given a list of places to deliver parts to, I would then collect all parts and check them against an invoice before loading into the van. On completion of deliveries i would return to the office to collect more orders

I worked for euro car parts through a agency for one week. The job was total rubbish, i was getting paid £5 an hour working 8am to 6pm. The worst thing is that they were actually timing me on how long i take to complete invoices (collecting car parts), these people expect me to be quick and work fast for a fiver a hour, i dont think so. People stay away from this company at all costs.

busy workplace with new and  used parts going all over Australia, the business is very busy front of business to back of business, the call centre crew are helpful when needed and the spanner crew are always there to assist, to make this business the success it is.

Always depends which branch you work for, some better than others, at wembley branch it's a big disappointment how its managed. If you start from bottom as driver or picker, you will never be more than that in the company and they will treat you like not human being. 85% of the employers are from India starting from the managers, means they will speak in their language rarely in English.

The work life balance has changed dramatically over the last 2 years . the Company now takes pride in all their work staff. Engagement is top on their Agenda and they work hard to ensure their Core Values are met at all times. a strong and good place to work and enjoy a good career with good promotional prospects
