As a former franchisee, I can advise that Electrodry will suck a potential franchisee into a 5 year contract regardless whether the applicant can afford it or not. They'll advise all the good "potential" of the business and all the money you can "potentially" make, but then suck your business dry with franchise costs and advertising costs.

Don't expect to negotiate on fees, there's no negotiation here. Just exorbitant costs and charges back to the franchisee that far outweigh the income the business can produce as a one man operation.

Yes the system is a good product, but in their sales pitch to potential franchisee's they supply details that an average of 5 jobs per day at $165 per job will derive a good annual income.  They then advertise $99 deals everywhere and expect their franchisees to sell additional products in order to jack the price up, which creates objections from customers, a lack of trust from your clients and a lack of income to the franchisee to cover their costs. A new franchise will also be unable to generate 5 jobs per day from their more than $1,000 per week advertising costs.

This is one of the greediest companies I have ever had dealings with, and they will entice potential franchisees that cannot afford it into a 5 year contract, convince you that you can make a fortune, and send you bankrupt.

Avoid this franchise like the plague people, it's not worth bankruptcy, and the information supplied by the Franchisor is designed to entice people into a business that doesn't turn a profit for a very long time once the exorbitant franchise and advertising fees are accounted for.

Started with the company in October 2019. The job overall presented rather well. Was given a company van and equipment and you were given your daily run to complete. However you have to meet KPI's for the week of upselling more products, and pushing customers into receiving more products to make the company more money. While your doing this they love you. 

I had a very bad experience with a manager at a furniture store that was scheduled to have some display furniture cleaned. When I asked the electrodry state manager to have the job rescheduled or swapped to another technician I was told to take the van and equipment back to the factory with no explanation. While you make them money they'll love you but once you question the overall direction of the company and its treatment for its workers they'll remove you.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Meeting the lovely people you are doing the job for. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Unrealistic time limits and kpi's. Always under pressure to go faster, sell more, sell, sell..... 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Apart from initial training you generally work on your own. Didnt meet all the guys but those i did meet or worked with were all friendly and eager to help.
Management not so much. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get to first appointment, discover that job will take way longer than allocated time. Start to stress about running behind for the rest of the jobs..... Stressful

This company fails to pay employees for legitimate hours worked. Extra weekend work was also not paid at correct rates. 
And there is little to no work life balance. After a long day with a usual extra hours worked for free you have cleaning to do at home after hours to be prepared for the next day. So don't think about having a social life.
General mistrust of employees and this comes from the top down and also a lack of communication/feedback to being almost non existent creates an awful working environment.

Minimal support for workers.  Technitans contracts are unfair and your employment is to be able to terminated if you are unable to upset products. 
The company will deduct money from your pay without telling you if they think you have short banked. When it is found that there was/is no error, there is not even an apology.
Employees are not valued nor are they treated with respect from the receptionists right through to management.  Unfortunately I would not recommend as employers.

This is the worst company I've very worked for they expect u to work 9/10 hour days drive an hour to and from work get paid poorly for weekend work made to wash clean carpet cleaning pads on my time off on weekend.  Fill up on fuel clean my van and take pictures of my van all for free. 
Training was very poor trainer has no idea about sst or pre spray.
Company lied to about bonus system and told 12 weeks I'll get payrise 7 months later this happens 

You work solo in a van provided to you. 
Support is always a phone call away.
Some days its hard work other days can be easier.
A lot depends on your work ethics

having to interact with customers was nice, and gave a different feel to the job
having a 'manager' play power trips not so much.
jobs were too spread out and you would quite often work way more then the 38 hours a week, especially including the paper work that had to be done at home after you had finished
banking was crucial but depending where you lived you werent able to bank when needed depending on the jobs they gave you.

If you like working 12 hours but getting paid for 7. If you like being threatened by management or you like  driving 3 hours to you first job at a 7.30 start... maybe youll like it. They care less about their staff than any company ive worked for ! Please take my advise and dont go there. Ever.

Company provides the equipment for the job but doesn’t provide back up when problems arise. Sometimes they are sneaky and check out things without your knowledge. Pay was not great and expectations for too high. I would not recommend this company to work for .
