What is the best part of working at the company?
I have learned a lot from IEC and it is a good company to work for.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I am no longer feel stress because I am used to work under a lot of pressure and making sure that I meet deadlines.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The environment is dynamic and the culture differ from management to management.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
when the auditors are given our department a short notice request for information.

Working at the day of election is the most fun part of this job. we start at 7am and finish 7pm for assisting all voters to issue their votes. Then we start counting votes after 7pm, until all votes being counted correctly.

The work is fast paced and need to work as a team. The result is being achieved by the whole team working as 'ONE' and cheered at the end as 'ONE'. 

Even though this is a casual job, but I learn a lot from the experience and met a lot of new friends every time.

A shame it was only a very short term role. The work around a State Election is time-limited as it is. But I found the culture was good, managers gave clear instructions on what was expected of us to perform our jobs - which doesn't always happen in my experience - and we were treated with respect - again, this doesn't always happen in employment.

A great place to use your communication and listening skills with people from different cultures.
Get ready to work long hours and to clean the room once the votes have been counted.
Also you need to take your own lunch and afternoon snacks.

This job is very hands on and learning on the job. You are given previous physical location training and/or online training as well as a lot of training materials and guidelines. The managers are always there on hand to help and support you.

Appalling, no job security, merely casual, no input from management, terrible working conditions in a building that was freezing  in winter and insufferable in summer.  I'd rather stick pins in my eyeballs than work with them again.

I was hired only for the election on election day.
I loved interacting with other people there.
Hardest thing was making sure we didn't count votes that were invalid votes.

Supportive staff .
I was on contract so that "outside " feeling does exist . Limited training but great experience.
Great for people looking to return to work force.

The job culture was friendly and encouraging.

The managers were willing to help as well as the co workers.

At the end of the day when all the votes had to be counted everyone worked on their share.

I applied to work for the electoral Commission for two weeks and it was the worst job ever the staff were so rude even the manager was not very coropative and was not very helpful
