A typical day in the classroom is always busy, interesting, exciting, fun, frustrating and every other emotion that you can imagine.

Every day is a learning curve in patience, consideration and kindness. Every child is different and need assistance whether it be educational assistance, emotional or social. Often it is impossible to address all of their needs, but they know that as a teacher, you respect them and that you will endeavour to help them the next day and the next. They know that you "are there" for them.

Mostly with careful management skills and organisational skills, the day can run fairly smoothly, with only the occasional hiccup.

Teachers rely on each other for support to continue the job that they do. They help each other with; ideas for management of classes, collaborating with each other, communicating with parents and also principals and other experts in education.

The job of teaching can be challenging but it is wonderful when you see the progress they are making over time. The job is very rewarding.

What is the best part of working at the company?
School holidays allows time off for working parents.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It's not stressful working with the education department.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very friendly and very much a team effort, staff are always lovely and are very respectful and appreciative.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typical day starts off with a quick meet up in the cleaners office, a discussion on anything that needs to be addressed and then we get on with our allocated work.

The job is great and rewarding.  But the office staff have no clue what's going on.  Every centre is run differently, depending on how the supervisor wants to do it.  Some teachers are terrible at their job but they're so desperate they take on anyone.  There's no job security, sometimes you won't know until the week before if you have work or where you'll be working.   Good job, good pay, terrible management....and for a job that's in the water there's way too much paperwork!!

What is the best part of working at the company?
The only good part was greeting the children in the morning and afternoon would never work with education department evil

The stressful part was they hid everything we told them under the rug

Evil wouldn’t work with a bunch of lies anymore

Stressfull and working for other people

I have only worked a few days in schools in my Area and I have enjoyed my time in these schools. I have recieved lots of encouragement to persue this work at a young age. I have receive much assistant on my very first day and I have thrived since then. The most enjoyable part is meeting new people and new students. The hardest part is finding my way around different environments, but I receive help from these around me.

As a peripatetic teacher, visiting many schools, you will find that your job will vary from school to school.
The hardest part of the job is time management. There is always so much to try and accomplish in a very short amount of time.
Best part is it's a fun subject to teach and you're not stuck with the same faces day in, day out.

The state high school I was at was a hard to staff, which meant that the day to day could be a bit more difficult than your average school. I received plenty of support whenever I needed it though which is fantastic as a graduate teacher, as I developed great rapports with the students I taught. 

Productive and enjoyable.   To be able to complete any tasks with a high standard of efficiency.  Great satisfaction with guided children to reach their expectations and be happy and comfortable at school.

The time i spent working for the education department
was very interesting and also pleasent.
I learnt alot about myself at that time and also about other people.

Overall the work is not as stressful as you could imagine, depending on the child or children you're working with, most staff are lovely and extremely supportive.
