If you choose to work for this company make sure you educate yourself on safety and your rights at work. They have killed one worker in Australia and they underpay. You should double check the following things, everyweek.

Your hours - They don't abide by their obligation to post rosters and will do whatever they like regardless.

Your pay Grade - They pay industrial cleaners at grade 1 pay levels. You are entitled to minimum grade 2. Familiarize yourself with the Award. Or seek help from someone who knows it.

Your prorata acumulation. They will expect you to work 7 days with little to no notice and not pay the required 5 weeks annual leave. When they do pay annual leave it is at the base rate and not including loading in contradiction to the award.

And stay safe people. Read up on the workers who died while cleaning. Understand what happened and protect yourself. If you work for these guys or have done in the last six years I highly encourage you to look into it.

The work is hard and stressful, the least they could do is pay you decently for it and make it safe.

Disgraceful company to work for! Will treat  you like children and not care for any problems you have. They have taken over another cleaning company at this site and are under paying us, constantly telling us to hurry up and cut corners just to get things done in the time they quoted to get the contract. I used to like my job but have left as this company has ruined everything and what I was taught from my previous company who had the contract for many many years mind you has been thrown out the window for worse methods of doing things. Under staffed, under paid, under appreciated. Any food industry that takes this company on is silly as your site will not be cleaned properly and put you at risk to food poisoning cases to the consumers purchasing your product. Unions and fair work are to be called in on this companies dodgy policies and under payment of staff.

Absolute joke of a company,
Work procedure is a lot more strenuous than last company, 
Wearing the "Ecowize" work gear is stupid due to it being full plastic its ridicules, in hot weather/areas is horrible.
To much over protective PPE for the job there is other/better gear
The cleaning equipment is less than good, its bulkier more awkward to use, we got given bottom of the line equipment in a factory that requires thing to be cleaned to perfection, its a lot more stressful on the body to use the gear they supply
They are not fixing the old parts of the cleaning equipment, so its take 3 times as long to do a 10 minute job.
I used to enjoy my job, now with this new "Ecowize" company i do not anymore, ill never work for them again.
A lot of the experienced people have left because of this company
Pay is less than average for conditions

Salary payment good, apply safety during work and PPE provided.

Management not appreciate worker. Give additional task but condemn finish late. Unfair compare worker with another areas. 
Rushing to finish work. Result to less quality output. Work risky because rush.

Nothing special, lot of friends

What is the best part of working at the company?
Cleaned the reject shop, had enough time to do my work, reject staff were very nice and friendly and I was fortunate enough to have a good supervisor. Overall, happy days.

When the reject staff members slept in and were late, I hated the waiting.

I only worked 2 hours 2 days a week

I  was doing a night time job for Ecowize Company, the job duty is cleaning office rooms for a chicken factory every day, it was very good experience and I learned a lot from that job, such as time management, co-operation and teamwork, etc. The culture of workplace is quite nice, it is very equal and hierarchy. Some challenge of the job is I have to finish all jobs at very short time. I felt so enjoyable when I working with people from different countries and have very variable background.

Very unprofessional . Made us go for a group interview at 9pm got a text saying they were running late, then at 930pm another text saying that somebody else was going to conduct the interview, the supervisor was extremely unprofessional just asked us if we had experience right in the lobby of the factory then gave us a little form to fill out, then asked us to take a picture of each one of us and that’s it! No interview

This company needs to look at the way the supervisors run the business as it is not a good company to work for due to the rolls that people are placed in. Heavy work should be given to the Male employees not the women. I myself had to drag big tubes of fat outside and tip into a big metal skip. I am a very small petite women and I didn't get much help doing this at all.

Low pay, every employee is treated like a machine! We aren’t machines we are human! Manager has NO skills,your  constantly wet and told to hurry up,there is NO duty of care for anyone. Terrible company to work for.

At Ecowize the work place is fast and stressful activity, working within heavy machinery and harsh chemicals as the work was to clean Beef processing plant, i learnt a lot their about busy work culture.
