Ecostar Double Glazing

I worked in the shopping centres for about 8 months and it was good work, paid really well i thought and earnt some really good bonus' out of it. Also saturday and sunday rates. Have done a lot of promo work and the product is great which makes it pretty easy to stand behind. Roster was pretty flexible with a weeks notice and made acceptions for when i was at uni although contantly having to cover shifts as people would pull out last minute. We worked in teams of 2 which is one of the reasons i left. To many new people coming in not pulling their weight and complaining about how hard it was. It was just booking quotes and isnt hard work. People rostered on and just going off and doing their shopping while the other person had to pick up the slack. Managment didn't do a good job of spotting this and adjusting around it and customers constantly put off by other staff trying to butt into converstaions which i felt was intention to ruin your chance of doing you job. Dont know the exact problem was but constantly burdened by negative people.

I really enjoyed the great people that worked in the company and also the great customers that I met in the home. 

The other really enjoyable part was the money I was earning, I would still be working for the company in this role if the hours still suited my lifestyle - I left as my wife was due to have our first child and she wanted me to have a 9-5 job so I would be home in the evening... and whilst the hours are normal the role is inclusive of being in customers homes in the evening (note: typically I had 2 appointments a day one in the morning and one in the evening).

i started on the phones and worked my way up to assistant manager quite quickly. I was happy with being to progress and that the opportunity was available.

All in all you would have rocks in your head if you didn't like working at Ecostar

Starting working in the telemarketing department because it lined up well with school hours and seemed like a good bit of change in the pocket.
Turned out that they have worked hard to create a really nice work environment. The managers are all approachable and clearly invested in us doing well and they have always been understanding in facilitating the hours that I can work.

Huge turn over of staff.....people being sacked every week. Long hours on your feet trying to to get customers to have a quote on their homes for windows. You are also spied on a lot with pretend customers or people lurking in the background checking if you are working. No trust at all! Worst job i have ever had! They also ask customers if they want jobs because there is such a high turn over of staff!

Ecostar double glazing is like a family, right after you start working there, you won’t feel lonely because of the wonderful team ecostar has. The pay rate is also great with uncapped commissions. Managers are also great and extremely polite, ecostar is a wonderful workplace to get tons of experience with lovely people around you.

The people at EcoStar are very fun and entertaining. The work environment is a typical office scenario but due to the friendly and uplifting management, it makes working fun and enjoyable. The salary is great with an added chance to cash in on commissions which is a great way to make additional money!

A very fun and competitive work environment that strives for excellence. The hours are flexible and the pay is great along with the bonus commission. The management team is constantly providing encouragement while also helping you improve with interpersonal skills.

The job suits my work life balance. The team
is super friendly and I enjoyed coming to work. The pay rate is also pretty good. Management is great and it was fun to work at eco star. The work is also quite manageable.
