Left ECH due to the Red Flamed Management style of singling out individuals for not achieving instead of addressing the cause of unrealistic expectations that no other employee in the department reached without themselves completing excessive unpaid after-hours work that became evident was seen as an under-the-table expectation.
Clients solely are profit margin values. Too many clients without adequate support in place due to the pressures. The growth of client numbers creating profit outperformed the workforce resource availability. Fewer staff results in ECH's profit margin benefiting. 

Moved to another organisation that showed compassion, it was such a relief!


Busy, multiple clients requiring assistance with personal care, medications, social activities, shopping and cleaning. Management was average not excellent but not the worst I have worked for. Not having enough time allocated for going from one client to another at times . Seeing my regular clients either daily, multiple times in a week. Only saw CEO 3 times during my employment

Large rapidly growing organisation which is continually restructuring. This causes  confusion and stress to workers but mostly the consumers (elderly clients), who are expected to accept changes without notification. 
Work schedules for community workers can be dense and travel time is not always accounted for. 

I honestly have no idea how this company is still running. So many serious issues ignored, profit over client well-being and safety & zero communication between support workers and case managers. Hired as a full-time support worker, but ended up a cleaner instead & was burned out within months. If you actually want to support the elderly & use your skills as a support worker, ECH is not the place for you. 

Continuous restructuring and changes to job titles is not the answer to improving business processes. I felt under valued. Management are out of touch with ground level staff concerns. Pressure is very high and at times unacheivable

Good team work& a very good management& co workers.learn a lot from the warehouse & inside the office as well.good people.getting payrise every six months.

My job is very fulfilling, every day brings a new challenge

The most enjoyable part is when i can make some one smile or laugh and help them with the problem they bring at hand

The company acknowledges staff work in an important and caring sector. The culture in the wellness centre is friendly and welcoming with a strong client and customer service focus. Work for Fitness Leaders is full time or part time and very regular. 

ECH the management is good even the manager is so helpful and cares for the drivers but because of he’s very tight and he doesn’t look after his equipments and I always get the truck to drive with issues

I continue to be affected by the poor treatment I experienced while working for ECH. Vindictive and competitive behaviour in the workplace resulted in false allegations being made against me.
