My day would start off at 8.00am. I would bring down the float for the customer service safe to keep the checkouts in change throughout the day. Then i put the newspapers and magazines out and sort out the one's from the previous day. Each assistant for checkouts needs a float so i would bring them and count each one into a till. I'm working there a long time so i have been in a few departments and learned a lot. I get on well with management and work well as part of a team.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Discount and vouchers. Good staff

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with customers that ate unhappy

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very pleasant and good relation with people

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy but good as day passes by quicklt

Typical day at work,trying to do do a better job, than you have done yesterday. Learning to tolerate moody customers. Co-operating with friendly co-workers and management. 
The hardest part of the job is being not appreciated by the job you do, by the occasional customers. As the most enjoyable, to be recognised for your good work.

I received  full HACCP training,

customer service skills improved with a larger consumer base to cater for.

Most enjoyable part of the job was learning new skills and improving them over time to best of my ability, always enjoy learning new skills in the trade

I was only in the job for 7 weeks at the run up to christmas.
I learned manual handling and electronic till operations.
my co workers were friendly and helpful.
The Hardest part of the job was adjusting to working with so many different people.
The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know new people.

A job is a job these days, but if I had a choice to leave I would. Not a nice place to work really, managers are not that great... 2 in particular. loooooong hours with barely any benefits from the company, no discount and barely any thank you's

I enjoyed my time in Dunnes. This job aloud me to develope my motivational and communicational skills everyday.It created new an exciting projects on a daily basis. The hours in this position was 7 -4 Monday to Friday.

management and staff are very friendly, a typical day at work included the overall running of the store, doing daily deliveries i.e orders and checking them off as they arrived, general till work, cash handling and making sure the staff where happy

A typical day at work was enjoyable and at a fast pace i got on with all the management co workers

Lovely place to work still miss working here. Trained in HACCP deli and checkouts really enjoyed working here. learned something new everyday, made some great friends.
