Working at Don KR was never enjoyable, and the prospect of working there for longer than a year, feels like a waste of time (unless its your last resort). The people there are okay for the most part, however management is incapable of listening to your needs, and only think of you as an easily replaceable number, especially if you're a casual through a recruiter.

Everyone there seems like they have just given up, or are eager to leave as soon as another opportunity arises. The hours can be very inconsistent if you're assigned to a pool shift, in which you're sent to new places almost everyday. You can work up to 11 hours in a day, which is incredibly draining in the environment, and it's hard to plan around it when you don't know how long your working until you get assigned a position almost an hour after you arrive.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The money was ok but they cancelled shifts all the time which was difficult at times

Not knowing if your shifts are going to get cancelled 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Could be very clicky depending on which area you worked in 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
6am start set up , work at a ferocious pace with little thanks for the productivity

#every morning starting 5 am i get use to waking up early
#  learnt that if you work as a team everything becomes easy and safe.
# I manage to ignore the dramas around me it makes my job easier
# the hardest job is that when you have to finish your job and another person decide to fool around and not getting the job done
# The enjoyable about the job is that i enjoy doing my job and working hard with the people has the same amount of level hard working as i do.

I worked at Don KR through Programmed Skilled Workforce, who are by far the WORST company I have ever worked for. They owe me 59 hours of work pay which they refuse to pay me. Getting away with it by saying I wasn't there when I clocked in and out every shift and one of the managers there saying they never seen me at work when I had actually spoken to them most of the days. 

Worst management.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the canteen, go figure

Typical day - was easy place to work fast paced 
Repetitive work and not learning much
management was not to bad but to many bosses
Work culture definitely not a place i could have stayed working at but good for some quick income
the environment was the hardest part of the job working in sludge and yuck and in freezing temperatures making it a hard days work

Great experience and learning curve definitely. The place has no clue for work life balance. No clue on how to deal with workplace bullying or harassment. The salary was borderline slave labour. Especially a full time worker who worked night shift. No afternoon or loading rates. Just horrible all up.

worked my guts out for this company and got rave reviews only to have my shifts taken away from me constantly with little more than an hours notice each time - difficult to feed the family in this kind of situation.

Programmed hires people almost constantly, even though there's not enough work for those who already work there. Have been half way to work to receive calls to not bother coming in, or shifts cancelled within 2 hours which isn't uncommon.

good sometimes just need to get there timing right the bad part was they  ended my contract without telling me an they cut my lock off my locker an didnt give me my person belongs in there was mad about that had a cup full of coins witch when was asked about said no there was not
