I have worked at Dominance for several years initially at a base level just working weekends at their pubs and clubs. After a sustained period of performance I was given further hours and received comprehensive training in specialised areas of security such as loss prevention. The pay rate is very good and I was paid on time, every time. There is a family culture at Dominance and even though it is a very large company you never feel like you're just a number. I would highly recommend Dominance to people seeking a career in the security industry and even more so to anyone looking for a company to provide them with a professional security service. Keep in mind that nothing will be handed to you other than a chance and but if you put your best foot forward and work hard it will be recognised.

the typical day starts at 6pm for me and will finish at any time from 1 to 6 am and will involve helping set up for certain functions if needed and then patroling areas that are needed, we rotate at specfic times and communicate with each other with each problems that arrives, we also take care of some customers service and bar jobs, the management at this location is great they understand problems if life and will accommodate needs, the learning curve is steep but its pretty good and enjoying to joining a brotherhood. the hardest part of the job is dealing with drunk people

I loved working for Dominance during my time there.  There was a lot of opportunities to advance my career in the security industry, from working in pubs/clubs, static guard, and loss prevention among many.  There was a range of in house training and lots of opportunity to move up the ranks, from second in charge of a venue to supervising a venue, site supervisor and leader.

Good company to be employed by office staff were a pleasure to deal with. First impressions working as a guard a very important and the terrible cheap light blue shirts you are forced to wear is embarrassing to say the least every guard agrees. 

Guards were told by many people that you resemble an employee at officeworks or a printer technician not a security officer. 

Good overall positive Service Provider if your willing to put that little bit extra of Security and Safety aspect highly regarded by Clients and Company.

From my stand point not a bad operation, plenty of work offered depending on the time of year as contracts come and contracts go.
Turn up on time, shut your mouth and do your job, get paid weekly, no stress.

A very nice company to work for, nice people and good management and they look after their employees! I loved my time there and will go back there anytime..

Management rude and disrespectful, no care factor for team. Poor comunication and no clear instructions. No payslips nor clear understanding of proper oh&s. or work ethics.

Bad company to work for doesn’t even help you to learn and get better just gets rid of you if not happy with the way you work , not recommending to anyone
