Organising Daily Field Operations with 8-10 field staff , setting targets for the day , discuss any possible issues i.e. safety , OH & S issues ,anything that may impact upon the day , prepare data for upload from previous field work , plan and map / update maps of operational areas , book vehicle maintenance / service as required , procure consumables for field operations ,housekeeping , maintain contact with field staff where required , field phone calls from outside sources , answer emails from upper level management , Data storage management , interact with management and admin staff

as a result of this position i have learnt how to prioritise daily tasks ,manage people , maintain my integrity , handle various issues that appear unexpectedly 

Hardest part of the job was knowing it had a limited lifespan , contractual arrangement when the position was both challenging and enjoyable

I loved my job as it involved managing staff and administration of the office. I always endeavored to have a fun workplace culture which was appreciated by all staff. I always provided Free lunches and morning teas which were appreciated by all staff.

I was always given the jobs that were thrown in the "too hard basket" this is what I thrived on, Challenges! It was well known in the organisation that I could resolve any issue and hence I was given the task of solving the problem.

I always found that being proactive, being nice and putting yourself in the "other persons shoes" went a long way to ensuring a happy workplace culture.

I spend the day archiving files.  I have to make sure everything matches up, using the computer system, mark off, label, assign and file away each box of files.  Everyday I am learning something new and along with my colleagues, we are able to make adjustments to the processes we have in place to help make our job easier to manage on a daily basis.  
I am thoroughly enjoying this work, however it is on a casual basis and not knowing if we have work in a month/2 mths time will have to be the hardest part of my job.  I would like security in my work so that I am able to plan for the future.

Whilst doing work experience at the DPI Kingaroy I gained skills in the research area of farming procedures.  This also included a lot of repetitive work, and appreciated the need to be able to do this work with the need for high accuracy and to remain on task.  I enjoyed the people that I worked with who I found explained everything that was required of me, and I was not afraid to ask for help if needed.  It made me realize how important the farming industry is to Australia.

Quite a tedious boring position which I didn't enjoy to my full capacity. It was working within the accounts section of a government organisation. I am a people person and would prefer to work in HR, Family & Community Services which I have worked and studying in. I would of liked to be trained in other areas.

Excellent working conditions, excellent desk set ups, plenty of tea rooms and lounge areas, very well thought out for the comfort of staff. Managers and colleagues and workplace culture was excellent. Hours were flexible and easy to negotiate.
The job was enjoyable and would love to return if the opportunity arose.

professional working environment.   process all travels using TRIPS  for all staff on daily basis, also check Travelling allowances were correct. Also manage Petty cash and replenished each month and making sure all claims followed correct procedures.

Job was very well paid for type of work, people all great to work with and will definitely look at working there again.

I took a redundancy ending my employment there after my job was deleted and no longer available.

Employment was an ongoing venture with all work colleagues and clients Primary Producers). The most rewarding part of this job was the satisfaction by my peers and other people on what I doing, the end results and my achievements,

Not very professional asked to leave just before long service would kick in treated like a dirty rag after 7 years of working as a permanent casual and to top it off l was not given a opportunity to come back when worked picked up again
