Delron Cleaning

Typical day start at 3:00pm and ends at 8pm from Tuesday to Friday.  I learned many things,  specially the technique, the effective and the fastest way of cleaning without sacrificing the quality of work. I also learned the different types of cleaning materials and cleaning solution which helps me a lot. Management are very helpful and give us the materials and support that we need. They also give us free hand in our work. We are only three in a team and we get along well. Each of us already has an assigned task and we went straight to work and anyone who finish first will help out the other. Hardest work maybe was working during summer season wherein the temperature reach its 40's. Enjoyable was working with a good team and that includes the management. It just that I have to give this up because of family reason at that time.

This job required various jobs on any given day
 - Site visits with customers
 - Site inspections to monitor standard
 - Work with a crew doing buildings cleans/school cleans ect.

I learnt all aspects of industrial cleaning and appreciated the time and training given to me be the manager of this business.

The hardest part of this job was when doing onsite cleans - it was very heavy work.

The best part of the job was never doing the same thing every day - no time to be bored.

salary depends on the hours they might have for you.

hardest part of job is to talk to management.

enjoyable part is good hrs, but only 7hrs aloud.

working with most Alcoa employers, there humour and kindness is wonderful.

Safety with Delron was my grump, and staff commitments not being recognised.

Delron Cleaning is a great place to work , pay isn't bad, management is pretty flexible with work hours, i can spend time with my son and work late in the evening so i still get a good chunk of family time. Unfortunately it is not a long term position therfore that will have a large efffect later on.

Working at Delron as a Cleaner was a great job, but when I went into the office there was a lot of stuff I didn't like. Working with the cleaners was awesome

Was bullied quite often here by the Finance Manager. Used to get others fired. Foul mouthed management and bullied by most staff members. When making complaints about staff it’s not followed up. Not rewarded for the extra hours you do and too much work put onto one person.

We worked from 4pm to 10pm which I enjoyed, to actually be in a mine site area and see all the different aspects of a mine site.  
going underground to clean was an experience in its self even though it was only one night a week - a real experience learning about what and how things operate and meeting people of all walks of life.

Enjoyed working for the Education Department 
Throughout those years never had any reason to
Complain about the Department.
Wages always paid directly into account on time etc.

Company found me hours to suit my personal life, plenty of hours with more work offered to me when available. Great staf most people pull their weight, professional, good to work for especially if no experience in any areas, they train you

Worked for them for year my safety was at risk even after telling management they still made me work with broken equipment spent most my wages on fuel being made to use my car as work car out of my own pocket being abused by management for trying to raise concerns
