Starting with food preparation depending on what the day or upcoming functions were on, I learnt a lot of new ways of cooking, management was amazing from the big ceo down to the kitchen manager, co workers were amazing never to busy to lend a hand in any situation, hardest part of the job was coming up to the darwin cup every one working hard all day every day every one putting in 100%, sampling different foods and working with different chefs from different locations.

i am working as kitchen hand at Darwin turf Club and RSL. i learned so much of thing in my workplaces such as communicating with people and the job as kitchen hand. i have strong bind with my co-worker that we need to our works.i enjoyed joining in these two company because all of the staff are so much care to their fellow staff.
the hardest part of my job is when the roster is not given at the time but good thing our head chef find a way to give it to the next day.

It was just a one time job during turf day. We were  assigned to clean the whole vicinity after the event. it was tiring but fun. we finished the job earlier than we expected because someone leaded us and motivated us. pay is good.

If you want some extra cash, get in the middle of the action during the racing season this is the place to work! Great pay, meet great people! I did a couple of seasons and loved it. If your a keen worker they will keep you on after the cup!

I learn't a lot it was a great fun service everyone got along and it was energetic  would love to work again there, It was a great learning experience, I really would love to get a job back there

Staff and duties were great, management has no idea from the top CEO down cost cutting, what a nightmare.
Amenities management was good and helpful great guys

The most enjoyable workplaces I have ever work and I learned new things on the sites. I met different co-workers and customers from different backgrounds.

The Darwin Turf Club was an extremely organised and professional  company to work for. We were given training and regular breaks. The full time staff were very helpful.

It a nice environment to work in, with friendly colleagues around. Specially during the carnival time and with the Darwin Cup every year in becomes more lively.
