I started working here with a mission and vision in mind. I want to be a part of a company where I can help not just with additional manpower but also to give a hand when it comes to solving problems and urgent matters. Unfortunately, I felt I was not welcome; I often feel that I was not good enough. I lost my sense of gratitude, and it gave me stress, which affected my emotional and physical health. I was once a dreamer but the day came that the light inside of me was turned off since I started working here.

Supervisors are friendly and one of them helped me with my tasks.

The reason why I wrote this review was not to be a negative person. I know how the operation of business works from top to bottom. I'm no expert, but I have a lot of experience. I know that top level management prioritizes profit, connections, opportunities, competition, which focuses on income generating and lowering expenses or costs. 

However, the management should also consider their people, especially those who use their physical strength to finish the job and they are the cleaners. There is no successful business without taking good care of its people. I agree, you can always change, remove, replace your people but where is the loyalty in that? You can build an army, but if they're not loyal to your kingdom, it is useless. Same goes for the business. 

I hope, one day, the management will not make their cleaners, especially migrants feel like they are being exploited by the company. That they will receive the salaries on time without any excuses for why it is delayed for weeks or months. That they will be fair with their employees about paid training and listen to their employees' suggestions and opinions without shutting them out. 

When the people are happy and being heard, you do not need to micromanage them; you do not need to constantly remind them on what to do and what not. I'm sure no company wants to lose a good employee, and Dimeo should start by giving them paid training, right workload for the right hours, not trying to fit all the work in one person with not enough hours, treat them with respect and not belittling them because they are migrants and cleaners, and lastly respect that they are also human trying to earn a living. 

The management needs to improve, and company culture may have something to do with it. Because if it happens all the time and a lot of employees are afraid to voice out their opinion because they're afraid to lose their job. Then, there is something going on that needs to address. I hope this helps. Like I said, I'm glad that I worked here, but the experience is something that I am not proud of having.

I have worked for the company for the past 3 months. 
I wasn’t trained properly, pay is below minimum wage, bullying and discrimination, was over worked with out breaks. 
I took over an area where a man had been “cleaning” it for 8ish years. I put a letter forward of areas that needed to be cleaned. Someone finally took notice. Now this is a 12 hour cleaning area for one person, I was expected to do it in 8 hours(without break) by myself and clean the previous persons mistakes on top. When it wasn’t getting done quick enough I got in trouble and someone was finally sent up to help. 
I have kids and as we all know they get sick especially in winter. They aren’t happy because I have been taking unpaid careers leave, I have now had a phone call that “head office” aren’t happy and want to either change my hours or possible termination was implied.  I was also told to talk to my partner and the schools to see if I could change hours so I could work during the day.... as we all know schools have set hours, my partner works trade and they have certain hours to work in between. 
I was sick one night and was asked to stay and work, even after throwing my guts up for 20 minutes! 
Upon the three months I have seen many workers fall asleep while polishing floors, standing up or as soon as they sit down they fall asleep. 

So in theory, if you have “little kids” this company is not for you! And if you want to be paid below minimum wage(have check the minimum with fair work) and over worked then this is for you!

Working at Dimeo Cleaning Services was one of the worst job experiences I’ve had. A typical day involved physically demanding tasks with an unfair workload that didn’t match the hours paid. Supervisors were often missing, and there was no leadership at all — workers had to figure things out on their own.

There was no training, no support, and no clear communication. Management showed no respect, especially toward migrant workers, who were clearly exploited. The culture was toxic, full of pressure and stress, with zero recognition or appreciation.

The hardest part was handling everything without guidance while being blamed for things beyond your control. The most enjoyable part? Honestly, nothing. I regret not gathering evidence to report them to Fair Work.

I enjoyed working for Dimeo, 
Lakelands shopping Centre had a daily task, everyday was the same and I always made sure everything was clean in the Centre for the next shift. I learned
no matter how hard you worked it was always noticed by or peers, as we didn't have any supervision it was only inspection on Fridays, we would finish anything that we had been told, and we would not see them for another week we would only 
talk on the phone if any problems occurred this was the hardest part of the job; we needed them more than they realized, it would have been nice to have an active supervisor, this is why I don't recommend this type of work to anyone.

I work for this company at Commonwealth Bank for 10 years, then they lost the contract ,  went to work for them to Tooheys .
There was a Supervisor , rude, abusive and bully, The only other full time job they had for me  was in the CBD,  I resigned The 24 of December 2013., 
The payment was the minimum wages but I was comfortable at the Commonwealth , I was the only cleaner there working full time , have to order materials , cleaning products and fix details.
The supervisor I had when I work at the commonwealth was a good person! The Company manager there is a good man also.

Dusting, wiping, emptying bins, cleaning desks, and vacuuming carpet on three floors at a CBD offices is daily routine at work.
The hardest part is when we have to skip cubicles/rooms and wait for the clerks to finish and leave their areas so that I could start cleaning.
But the most enjoyable part of the job is I could see the City Lives and nice view from the high places.

Great company to work for if you want to become a company person that doesn’t have other personal commitments, so all your time and energy is focused on work.

Good salary and good people to work with, but need to change job culture to avoid burnout; and improve internal processes and procedures to assist better both management and employees.

My typical day is spent on the road visiting different sites

Working for Dimeo is fun and you get to learn quite a lot about cleaning, including use of machines and specialised equipment.

Most of the cleaning has to be done at night which interferes with your social life, but this is the nature of the industry (not the company's fault).

The managers are supportive and understanding, they try and do their best to help and accommodate to your needs.

Comply with company policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting.
• Arrive to work at scheduled time, perform services to established standards and ensure the client facility is locked and secured after finishing my work.
• Co – ordinate with supervisor and work as a proactive team member to ensure the employers expectations
• Train new staff members
