Fun work place with supportive management.The most enjoyable part of the job was working alongside my colleagues and share knowledge. Always go home with learning something new. There was  a lot of variety in what I did each day,ranging from the critical repairs to new models with new components that were exciting and interesting. Some junior mechanics not willing to learn and expect higher pay are the common odds around us.Some can pull along easily but some just not for the job.

Work machinery in very poor condition, would fail most safety reports . Zero training, Emory promises. It's not hard work that will get you rewarded but who you know. Serious bad attitude towards company flows on all levels . Co workers are good. There are no bonuses or incentives. 

Working for Crown Equipment was very productive,The area managers were good,any problems on a job you could always relay on them to help out.you were always kept up to date on the latest information.the hardest part of the job was sometimes having to deal with irrate customers.the most enjoyable part of the job was to be known as an employee of crown.

Control the operations, service and overhaul of industrial material handling equipment at the Australian head office. Account for full P&L, OH&S, Quality (ISO9001) and productivity. Improved Delivery In Full On Time from 46% to 95% in 4 months.
Great team to work with, but poor senior management.

Managing 16 Mobile Technicians, with daily run sheets,
maintaining KPI's in labour & parts targets.
The Technicians carried out retail & maintenance to fork lift trucks & equipment, both retail & internal fleet & rental.

Contact customers daily so I could catch up with them to see if they had any concerns or issues with the service department or parts department, also prepared service agreement and repair quotes.

I always look forward to going to work each day as its exciting learning new tasks and duties also to ensure the safety of myself and my fellow work mates and have fun at doing the job that Ive been set out to acheive for Im a team player always looking forward to challenging myself

Large service company with mobile technicians KPI's set from a foreign market which has pushed the local industry into decline.

hours are somewhat flexible and the job can be low stress generally

Working in crown is a good experience. There is always opportunities for the people who want to learn and try different field. Management is quite helpful in the process of giving complete confidence to employees.

Was an awesome place to work in the late 80s and 90s hopefully it still is, we were able to start from the bottom and work your way up the leader board, starting as an apprentice and progressing through to relieving service advisors was good
