Hardest part of the job was not knowing the rules for each site were changed without notice from time to time.
Most enjoyable part of this job was working with the Stevedores and the customer service of all persons that require entry to the site/s, the challenge of each day and the ability to resolve the current issue that may arise, meeting shipping agents which enabled the learning of how the ships schedules are important.

Interacting with workers and clients arriving and leaving site. It was great working with the other Security Guards, job involved signing workers and clients on and off site, providing information to workers. Observation and communication  are the biggest factors in security dealing a lot with deliveries obtaining information and scripting information doing a lot of patrols on site, cctv monitoring, radio contact to co-workers and workers on site, signing visitors in and inductions, phone contact and 1 on 1 contact and the safety interactions enjoyed. The hardest part of the job was doing Night shift but I enjoyed every minute of it.

The people the mobilisation co or donator was awesome and my colleagues were a great team

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Leaving family at home and the logistics of fifo

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Supportive, open, fair, respect 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Routine like any job with some additional medical cases for good measure.

Great colleagues at sites . management are useless . They dont care about the worker . Dont pay penalty rates  management lack in communications big time.
Will contact you at last minute to cover a shift that is 6 hours drive away 

Not for ethical people as this it not recognized as a strength 

As per previous review full of bullies and crawlers who are rewarded with roles they are not qualified for.  

No budget to support projects

Very disorganized and difficult to achieve anything due to managers having no skills or experience

As long as you turn up for shift they are happy. Don't expect a half decent form of communication from management to staff unless they want something from you. They don't want to supply you with the required PPE to perform your job and complain about the cost alot.

The company culture is very engaging and upstanding, there is a lot of motivated people and amazing crew the keeps the place afloat. The owner is really nice and funny. I think i had a good experience working at this place.

I was lucky to be working on a large project with plenty of hours available, I worked under three different senior officers and found it easy to follow instructions and SOPs as well as site compliant regulations.

Old has been guards that suck hole and stab anyone in the back to save themselves or make another employee moved on.
No culture, no comradery, no loyalty.

I like the company and they have giving me a great opportunity but the travel from Hervey Bay to Gladstone every week is taking its toll and my life. 
I would like to work closer to home.
