The most enjoyable part is to meet people there some staff are nice others can be judgmental and racist. Chef are great and best to approach or let out your opinion or problem that you have.  
With a job with 3.25 hrs in afternoon it hard to finish two kitchen at a short period of time they should increase the afternoon shift to 4hours instead of 3.25 hrs cause one kitchen you finish at an hour and the other you have to finish at only 30mins! Everday is a rushing day if you are in an afternoon shift and had to do 2 kitchen.  Management won’t listen to you if you open up your review and your daily problem and experience you’re having. 

You were not paid for time spent before your shift setting up (expectation was to arrive 1.5 hours early in the morning) and you were not paid for extra time spent finishing off at night. ( up to 1 hour). Whilst the pay rate looked good, it was not actually that great if you spread it over your total hours worked.  The staff were lovely. The environment was nice. Not enough training.  Thrown in the deep end too quick. Just too much unnecessary pressure on staff to work at a ridiculous pace that could be easily rectified and managed better.  I would have stayed if I had of got paid for the hard work and hours I worked.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It was OK, but the payrate was grossly under the award rate.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Toxic environment. Having to deal with facility manager and your own Boss would often conflict, it felt like they would listen to Facility manager rather than us.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Often Toxic with a few exceptions.

working at this establishment was very enjoyable even if at times, very stressful. learning how to manage myself was important. there was not much room for error if you intended to keep to the schedule but with proper staff and good organisation everthing ran smoothly. day to day work did throw up some challanges but nothing that wasn't managable, or that could have worked around. this kind of work is not what I want to pursue, it was just part time work as I studied.

This workplace is fast-paced and productive. you have to work in team to meet the required tasks. The management is good however shifts are not permanent which may prove difficult for some who require a solid routine. The workplace is fun and energetic and interacting with the residents can really make your day. The job can become difficult if deadlines are not met, especially when overtime pay is not provided.

Fast paced work environment with good people and management. The culture is welcoming. Very rewarding working in aged care and being able to provide them nice food. Love it!

They expect too much in not enough time & pay minimum wages 
The Staff continuously sign off on jobs that have not been completed
They Did not provide correct safety equipment EG gloves 
Unsafe food transport methods on old trolleys 
Poor management

It is a really good company providing catering services in many age cares. I have learned a lot of handling food in age care kitchens like I set breakfast trolleys, service, dishwashing, cleanliness in kitchen etc.

A company that look after their employee making sure that their employee are not just physically well but also mentally and emotionally. They give employee opportunities for career growth and development. Really good company. 

The residents were always the part I loved the most , tending to them and getting to know their likes and dislikes made it special to be able to keep them happy. The staff I had a truly great rapport with them. We always worked well as a team.
