Combined Insurance

Travel to various managers to train them and their staff. All over the state of Victoria.  Go out with new and old staff to train on their sales presentations.  Hiring New Staff.

I learned that people needed to feel your trust before they would open up to you or even allow you to do business with them.

I followed a schedule and set goals for every aspect of the job.

I always supported my teams with all their requests and alway made time for them.

I found the hard part was firing one of the members of my team.

The Atmosphere and positivity was incredible and the excitement made everyday a joy.

Combined Insuramce is a fantastic company to work for. I have been promoted numerous times based on merit which I love. The benefits and compensation packgage has allowed me to not just provide the needs for my family but the wants as well. This company has allowed me to realize my potential and I am nowhere near done. I will retire with Combined Insurance.

Very busy day at work which I enjoyed but not over stressed
I learn a lot about the type of equipment that we sold
My manager was of old school and I respected him very much
As this was a small office it was like being in a family
There was no part of the job that I found hard.
The most enjoyable part of the job was bringing in the stock checking the itinerary and then shipping out the goods

One of the best trainning I have received in terms of sales and costumet service. It would have been great if there were a salary or retainer and commission. With commission only it makes very hard on the person who is living under pressure all the time and it might end up burning themselves. That's what happened to me. But they do have a good product and a good pay system.

i started  from the bottom and worked my way up 
i eventually was given my own turf / territory and i enjoyed meeting  and training  other staff members 
i cut my teeth in management and was  respected by my peers
the hard part was to crack the initial sales levels 
the most enjoyable was  writing the coverted top sales award in the nation then being promoted

Great training & support. Opportunity for self development & personal development. It gives opportunity for one to offer leadership and developing initiative and self direction. To have a positive mental attitude & to keep trying until you achieve success. To self motivate and motivate your team in times of poor sales periods. 

The combined insurance company was good for generating money for the company but for the staff they didn't get even fuel allowance or travel allowance. 

there was no based income for staff. 

as a result the was no high level of income possibility.

Working at Combined Insurance involved a lot of cold calling, spending most of your time trying to generate leads.
When meeting with potential client face to face &/or  group  presentations were conducted (Didn't mind that too much).

the company is a joke nothing but a joke, money hungry people horrible people to work for, a typical day at work included being away from my children for 12 or more house being screamed at by customers cause they knew the company sucked

great if you like to be your own boss, no base, only commission - cold calling, no leads provided - have to go into the office every day for a positive mental attitude pep talk
