A typical day at work was a steady flow of customers and cleaning, working there gave me great money skills and on the spot math challenges, managment was a great well organised team that made the worplace an easy environment to work in, everyone who worked there where very kind to eachother and we all got along well, the hardest part of the job was working during a busy period with a staff member who was not very experianced but we still would get through everyone fine and the most enjoyable part of the job was the occasional free icecream.

As it was my very first job I learnt multiple things like how to make Ice Cream cakes, How to serve customers properly etc

My Co-workers were always friendly and very easy to get along with 

The Hardest Part of the job would be on busy days when we only had two staff members while we had customers flying out the door

-Setting and packing up shop.
-Customer service and working very hard.
-Management was great and everything was in on time, never had any problems.
-My boss was great with choosing her workers and they've always been nice and kind to me and to everyone else; a friendly environment.
-The hardest job was to close shop as there was a lot of heavy lifting. But on the other hand enjoyed it because it gave me a challenge.

A typical day at work would include the promotion of new ice cream flavors and mix ins, the merchandising of ice cream containers for customer appeal, as well as the use of basic cleaning equipment to adhere to WHS regulations if needed.

I have been also working for Cold Rock Ice Creamery Airlie Beach, my job description is taking care of customer need by taking and completing their food orders, Opening and Closing of store, handling money, cleaning of the shop and machinery and also taking care of the stock.

Now, I'm not going tocomplain but I kept getting called in for times I'm not rostered on, for example I'll be out down to NSW and I'll ell my manager about my trip 2 weeks prior but he still called me in on the first day of my trip.

my salary as a manager was extremely poor, 14 year old got paid more. i was over worked which included 11 hour shifts and most the time i had to start early to get the jobs done which i wasnt paid for. over all i would not recommend Cold Rock to anyone.

staff are replaced once they become too old. not a nice place to work. 
service customers ice cream is fine and the staff are nice but the business only has young staff because they are cheap. Once you turn 18 you are gone.

Nice place to work with good staff. The work ethic is good and serving customers is a breeze as the options are up to them. However the management skills of the owners is poor.
