Charcoal Chicken

Usually at the beginning of my shift as a kitchen-hand, which was generally four hours, I would be greeted by my bosses as I'd prepare in the back. My four hours would be taken up by the following;
- sorting out, washing, drying and packing away dishes
- preparing the bench for the chickens
- bringing boxes of chicken out from the freezer, seasoning them, packing them back into boxes, then storing them back in the freezer for later use
- washing any dishes that were brought in from the counter or kitchen
- taking the trash-bags and empty boxes in the back out to the dumpster
- cleaning the tray in the bain-marie of fat and other foods
- sweeping and mopping
- bringing in furniture such as tables, chairs and signs after closing hours
At this point, my shift would end, with my bosses politely saying their goodbyes as I headed home. 
The management here was quite easy-going, but firm. As my job didn't have a set schedule, my bosses were quite happy with how I went about it as long as I finished everything I was meant to do before they started packing up. 
I usually worked alone in the back, with someone working up front on the counter. On occasion I'd work with a partner if we were quite busy. The other employees are always polite and approachable. They are fun to work with and are always hard-working.

Working for Charcoal Chicken was fun and gave me a very enthusiastic attitude. I liked all parts of my job which included preparing food, working a register and cleaning dishes and mopping the shop floor. 

Overall I would loved working for Charcoal Chicken because of the great atmosphere and attitude everyone had that worked there.

charcoal chicken restaurant gave me many new skills such as waitressing dealing with food in the kitchen, a day filled with new faces is surely fun, yet tiring as there are many responsibilities. i learnt time management as well as skills such as dealing with tough customers and waitressing which is something new, hardest part of the job would probably be ensuring every table is satisfied as it is a big restaurant and more than waiter is needed. i loved working there as i had great company along with me

The most enjoyable part about this job was everything, serving, cash handling, communicating to your co workers, and costumers. Hardest part about this job that sometimes is gets busy on weekends, trying to remember orders and making it right. having co workers is good to talk to or be with at work, helping each others out. Typical day at work would is easy as you don't get as much costumers till later that night.

At Charcoal Chicken being the first job i had i learnt a few things in life i will always need to remember in up coming jobs such as learning how to work with a register, working with customers, handling money. The work place was very enjoyable with such friendly staff, however the managers where not very organised with shift dates and times.

Working at Charcoal Chicken was okay. It was under staffed so I worked twice as hard, but I didnt mind that some times because I'm a hard worker and can handle a lot of pressure and responsibilities.

everything you expect from a kitchen, beautiful yummy delicious ribs and awesome Portuguese chickens with unbelievably creative salad styles, one of the best fast food units ever.

Hard to work for, no rosters just call-ins. Very specific techniques. Cash in hand, not done on books. Rude to staff. High expectations. Goes through a lot of staff as no one can stand to stay.

the best family owned business ive ever worked for. I started working as a kitchen hand and worked my self up to managing the kitchen. it was a friendly environment learnt all my food process and handiling at charcoal chicken they had great training team as well
