While I was lucky in that I was a strong salesman and able to make decent sales numbers each week, the lack of base wage and the implied school of thought that anyone not churning out 12 hour days isn't 'committed' enough to make it doesn't make for an overly positive experience.

I was able to become a team leader quite quickly and work with some young people from diverse backgrounds, but being asked to treat them as demandingly as I was treated was tough.

You are required to travel great distances and with no control over where you set up your sales station for the day, so if you draw the short straw, you could be stuck in the sun, wind or rain and in a low traffic area making sales work extremely trying.

This isn't sports marketing, as it was sold to me, it's face-to-face sales in the street or shopping centre, but if that's what you're after, they'll give pretty much anyone a start.

This industry helped launch my career. I wasn't too sure about the sales industry but every step of the way I was mentored by people who actually cared about how I was going. I have never experienced that in a job before.
I'm very grateful that I decided to go with my gut instinct and get started here, after 12 Months of being here I am now more confident and ready for any challenge.

Centrix Promotions is a a multicultural workplace. There were many co-workers who were international and different cultures. The work at Centrix Promotions was sound. The more sales made, the more commission, the more pay. It was flexible and good work experience for a short period. Although flexible, the commission work rate was low. Overall, Centrix Promotions is a good place to start off a work career.

extremely exciting everyday is pretty much a new day to better yourself and reach goals that have been set, constantly getting reassured that you are doing a good job, meeting new people with the same ideals as yourself friendly co workers and management

If you judge a business by it's culture then Centrix wins hands down.
I loved the training and development involved and the people there helped me learn everything I needed.

Due to my travel desires I was only in Sydney for 8 Months but it was a great experience, recommend this to anyone who wants to learn skills, earn an income and have fun at the same time.

Honestly, Centrix has been an amazing opportunity for me to grow my career. Thus far it has been social, fun, flexible and all the people are super friendly. In your first week you are assigned a mentor that helps you expand your skill set. The business/ managing director have great values and clear visions

I liked my job very much but I did not like my team leader as she was very demanding & nasty. I was happy to leave this company as I'm a great worker & In my opinion I should have been treated alot better. One positive thing I will say is the day after I started I was sent on a flight to Melbourne because my boss was very pleased with my performance

Centrix is a fun working environment in the morning meetings. But it's 12 hour days for a commission wage. Some sites are in bad locations having to sit in the hot sun, or rain for hours upon hours.

Working at Centrix really helped with my customer service skills but I didn't like the hours and the commission wage.

Can be long hours but this is how you reap the rewards . Commission based and those who work hard get the result.
Great bunch of people and hardest part is probably staying focused. 
Most enjoyable is team nights, awards nights and selling at races and awesome sporting grounds

if you are a good talker and can sell ice to eskimo's than this is the job for you.  ethically the way this company is set up though just doesnt sit right.  They take all the money they make and don't pass on much to the foundations and charities they are supposedly helping sell products for
