Start the day with check of the I pad for jobs tasked for the day,call customers for outstanding tasks.
The tasks could be anything from dog compliants to abandoned vehicles,obstructions to the road,plus parking.
Unless two rangers required for a complex matter,tasks were carried out on own,using a vehicle.
This vehicle complied with items to comply with IMS.
I started this job with limited experience and during this time,with on the job training have been able to complete complex tasks.
The Council has  a number of  restructures and an amalgamation and managed many by the same persons,which keeps any changes to a minimum.
The Ranger section worked well together and with a group effort did not have may problems,especially dealing with the public.
The hardest part of the job was dealing with the public,because every task requires a different input.
The best part is working out of the office,been local,no travel out of area for work,plus the workers in the Rangers section.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Dreadful management. Do NOT look after staff. No consistency at different swim centres. Given tasks other than job description at times. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working in a pool that should be closed off to the public until swimming lessons are finished.

Toxic.

More hours given to casual friend employees than PPT staff.

Ccc do not look after GOOD STAFF!

I worked in local Govenment for 8.5 years and have a wide range of administrative skills.  I assisted several staff from Officers, Group Leaders, Directors and General Management. 

During my time in local government I assisted up to 7 committees at a time in several areas of administration from collating and distribution of minutes and agendas to organising meetings and venues for same.

I have extensive skills in this area and believe I would be an asset to any business requiring these skills.

I worked as an Accountant for CCC and can honestly say it’s the best experience I ever had. The support from management, colleagues and admin staff was absolutely incredible and I couldn’t ask for more. I got to learn so much in terms of systems, legislations and the general workings of Council and was well worth the experience. I thoroughly recommend anyone wanting to learn about financial management in local government to take up any opportunities that may arise in future.

What is the best part of working at the company?
A great bunch of people to work it. Lively, fun loving and enthusiastic people.

Working in any contact centre is stressful as it goes with the role.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is great and a multicultural environment that celebrates events of different cultures .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The people and the music that keeps one going making it less stressful.

I was put in a position with absolutely no means of essential guidance, help, and or materials to make any difference from management whatsoever and I could clearly see that this was caused by incompetent management of public money sending the Council into spiralling inconceivable dept resulting in reduced service levels across the board .
The worst workplace I’ve ever experienced to the point of making me sick.

Working as a lifeguard has help me personally advance my social, mental and physical skills. I have improved my range of customer service and my skills in first aid, and water based rescues while working in this job. Co-workers and employers are extremely understanding supportive and sufficient.

Fast-paced, with friendly workplace culture. A very diverse environment with equally diverse needs.
A changing organization that is open to new challenges, open to opportunities, and looking at delivering for future and current generations.

Slow paced environment and hence need to have lots of patience to get the final outcome. People are very helpful and make you feel ease at work. Employees are treated fairly and provided with opportunities to learn and grow.

No over time, TIL provided instead but there isn't enough staff to used TIL. 
Under staffed and under appreciated.
Unless you are in a role of seniority, you are treated like nothing by the higher ups. 
Staff turn over is ridiculous in childcare centres.
