Carers of Africa

I had a wonderful experience working with a diverse group of individuals who have passion and determination to help the community. Working at Carers of Africa gave me a sense of belonging, especially when working with liked minded individuals.

Good work environment, helped me to pursue a rewarding career with exciting and collaborative work environment. The organisation has different culture diversity allowed me to make a positive contribution. The organisation helped me to be adaptable, self-motivated and pro-active individual.

The organisation had a lot of activities to be part of and that gave me the opportunity to learn more than what i expected. The other workers were busy on their assigned duties and seemed to be an organised place. There was various parties and appreciation.

Building a database answering phones they like to help people in under privalaged countries buy raising money for mainly schools in africa. I enjoyed working with everyone the are polite careing.

Friendly staff  who are ready to help others and work on tasks collaboratively. Managers are approachable and flexible with work hours \. Good location in the eastern suburbs with public transport nearby.

An open plan working environment that  Provides work life balance. Flexibility and support for work providing necessary training. Support for people of the same culture with various walks of life. 

Enjoyable place to work. Good mix of age groups and cultures. Supportive management and a variety of tasks. Learnt how to upload photos of store items on website.

So long as you don't mind the small, poorly insulated, stuffy room or plastic bags and monotonous hand work, then this is a quaint little volunteer group is for you!

I find what they need and prioritize it. I assign some work to other staffs and do some by myself. At the end of the day, I feel happy that I have done something as a social service.

Carers of Africa is a great organisation that helps those with disabilities to create beds and for stuff for homeless people and people in Africa to look after themselves.
