Capita set high standards of service and very good quality of training to ensure that staff hit the targets set. However the remuneration to the employees, especially the ground level staff, was very low. We were constantly encouraged to know how successful Capita was as a company, and how well we were all doing, but the pay level, kept down presumably to ensure that they could competitively tender for contracts with different councils, was appalling. I enjoyed the work but left once an opportunity came to do a similar role at almost twice the pay.

Capital has an open floor workspace, to interact with all diversity of everyone. There diversity makes them unique and forms unity. Being on the same floor workspace as your Superior can be interesting and provide you the opportunity to directly be under the spot and being notice be your Superior

Capital provides you with training by extremely dedicated trainers that goes the extra mile with new employee. Capital provided me with a great opportunity by employing and introducing me to this industry.

Capita is a fast paced, high pressure work environment which requires one to always be on their feet and to be able to assist customers to the best of their knowledge. The company itself cares about the well being of its employers and that is one thing I appreciated about the company. There is a great room for growth within the company but the employer has to play their part

Its a nice company to work for.  The vibe is positive. There's lots of support, so learning about the product isnt an issue. 
The growth is there,  you just need to work hard and be patient. 
Money however takes time to get. meeting bonus can be an issue as it according to the customers experience,  and getting a raise has terms and conditions. 
The hours aren't bad, working hours between 9-9/10-10 depending on the season

The finance team structure is not efficient and the company itself has many systems that do not work efficiently, The processes within the business need to be improved.

People are being fully utilized which does not allow time to think about how things can be done better. This does not allow people to grow and produce better work.

I have been very busy working at different schools within the North East of England and have gained vital experience at working with different children from different backgrounds. I have travelled as far as Ashington which is roughly 30 miles north of Sunderland and i have learned that children everywhere are different. I enjoy the challenge of going to a new school and getting to know new groups of students.

There are teams within the company that are well structured, and run very smoothly.  The deadlines which are set are achievable if you're prepared to work hard.  There are an awful lot of managers who even though they have meeting after meeting do not communicate with each other... There are some very nice people who work there

Enjoyed strong systems and processes also a good Legal team. Very approachable as were the Actuaries and Consultants.

Secure financial backing.  Bit too commercial minded at the point I left.

Terrible management( no people skills, no way of speaking to people, disrespectful)
No growth (only when you have a connection)
Unethical practice
Toxic environment 
Favouritism 



The staff on a local level are ok but the business does not value loyalty and as soon as there is a risk to a contract the higher paid are put on notice.
