Part time employment however never got a full shift, and if I was shifted on, I was entirely alone for majority of it. Hours were never consistent, after decent management left, new one was never present and expected workers to do everything entirely alone as well as managing the store (stock, invoices, etc) which in itself is not bad, however you will be alone doing it whilst keeping the store presentable, all the while managing customers and taking orders when its busy, which was unbearable for me because I WAS ALONE.  The work itself is very easy, it was the unfair workload and terrible management that made it so hard.  If you aren't a barista don't expect to be trained very much on the job. Overall this is a great job for a teenager, but not for someone who is trying to survive. 

Have made some amazing friends working here. Job is easy to learn and the staff are friendly and will help you out. Management decisions keep changing which is annoying, but the company itself is professional with rostering and giving out relevant information. Unfortunately the manager at the store is partial to some of the staff which means a few people get more shifts than others which is unfair. However it's a good choice for a first job, I learned a lot from working here and had a mostly pleasant experience.

Management doesn’t let you call in sick when you’re unwell, expects you to find a replacement for yourself and if you can’t you’re expected to go in unwell. You’re alone on every shift, dealing with customers, cleaning and keeping stock up. Barely get the chance to have a break because of everything that sits on the bench and having to put that away before you can have your break. Honestly don’t recommend working for this company at all, especially if you’re looking for something long term, they’re always short staffed too. 

The manager at the store I work at is extremely unprofessional. You give your dates of unavailability weeks in advance and when you're rostered on for the days you're unavailable, it's your fault, the manager can do no wrong. Treats ALL the staff like dirt, changes rosters without telling the staff, talks down on everyone, young and old. If I didn't need the job, I wouldn't be there.
Workmates however are awesome! The job itself is great, you have great workmates, it's fast paced and always busy.

1. Management not bothered about customer service customers getting queue mangers and co workers talking about highly private matters tea break is 10 minutes they forgot they have to serve quickly 
2. I was the first male employee harsh environment. 
3. They give task but not providing support.
4. Staff hired without looking that person is suitable for customer service
5. Management not responding if break down something
6 most evenings only Junior staff unsupervised.

You will work 5-7 hours by yourself, management has no idea what they are doing and are never there or at a different store. Always out of stock if supplies. Wont be able to go on break, as they don’t want the store to close. Care more about appearance then the safety of their staff. Management has criticised staff for customer service, yet has loss many of our regulars.
Staff members are amazing and very inviting to new staff, they welcome everyone. There is no one staff member  I didn’t get along with.

Management is poor
Constant changes to your shifts 
Long hours by yourself [7-8hrs]
If you're not a higher up you don't get good shifts 
The employees is the only good part but you don't even get to work with them.
Cleaning up after mice that they don't get rid of 
Wage is exactly the minimum 
Cleaning equipment constantly working in is extremely toxic

When management changed the company really went downhill, don’t value or care about employees, shortened hours so you have no help completing tasks, expect you to keep the stores 100% clean and serve customers on your own. Minimum wage for above minimum expectations. 

Store managers are poorly communicated with and that then reflects in the stores. Honestly just a joke. Would not recommend unless you are desperate for a job. 

The management is horrible. The manager will talk a lot about you behind your back to other staff members as well as customers. Don’t even bother going to higher up management because they don’t care either. The people you work with are amazing but what you have to deal with from the manager is not worth working there. You will work alone for 5-6 hours and expected to keep the store open without a break. 

Unorganised and unprofessional manager. Got let go from the store after a week of working without a reason by ignoring/blocking me. Was very slow paced and a lot of standing around.
