Well, I have to start with this, the job itself was good and fun, like the customers are usually regulars and you don’t have any problems with the job itself, all you do is tiding the store and helping the customers. However, the main issues are the Management, lack of communication,  Work life balance and the team culture. 
In terms of management, well the ASC manager is good and whenever they are at the store things run smoothly but the problem is CK does not have a assistant store manager, and instead of looking for one, they use an untrained regular sales consultant employee. Because of that, not only that employee who thinks is the manger takes the advantage of that, others employees take advantage of that situation too. For example everyone thinks that they’re the boss when the ASC is not in the store which this creates an unpleasant environment to work at. People try to make you do their job, they take their breaks whenever they want for as long as they want, if you’re friends with the employee whose the manager you’ll be good, but if you’re not you’re just in a position that you can’t do anything. You may ask if I told the ASC’s? Well I have to say no because they trust their what so called manager and they don’t care about what you are saying.
Salary was another thing, if you’re thinking that the pay must be good you are definitely wrong, for the amount of work you do and the amount of stress that you go through in the work environment, you get paid nothing specially if you’re a part timer.
Furthermore, work life balance, they expect you to work on your off days and they do not care about your availability, all they care about is fixing and solving their issue not you.
To conclude, personally, I didn’t have a good experience with CK, I’m not sure if it’s still like this or not but I hope that if they fix these problems. If you never worked at retail and you got a opportunity, it’s good to start there and get some experience and then finding a job in a better company.But if you’re thinking about long term with this company, I’d definitely won’t recommend it to you, there are lots of  major issues going on and personally I couldn’t see myself working there in long term or for another second.

Throughout my years of employment with PVHBA BRANDS Australia- working in the outlets and a flagship Myer store in Brisbane I discovered my passion. I enjoyed working in retail and customer service environments because I was able to relate to different people with unique cultures and backgrounds. 
My Chinese (Mandarin) communication abilities with speaking and listening provided a individual opportunity to bond with some of my clientele. 
Managing performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIS) was a key aspect to my role. I found it extremely rewarding when I'd outperform the KPI measures and assemble a positive report by the end of day. 
The PVH management were fantastic. They motivated their staff and considered our needs. 
Challenging aspects of my role was not being able to serve all customers at once because that'd interfere with the quality and accuracy of my customer service.

Pros
Most of the staff are friendly and down to Earth, the majority know that in the end of the day we're all just trying to get by and that getting along and making each other smile makes the day a lot better.
Cons
As always in retail, there can be rude and ungrateful customers, but for the most part if you get lucky enough to have good coworkers, this can become something to talk about. At times, the company can have unrealistic expectations of workers to be "on" all the time.
Advice to Management
Try to make sure the management staff is always putting their staff and their well being first, and not making staff work when they physically or mentally can't, as well as making sure that they treat them like people, not sources for money making.

As an Accessory Design Intern, I was able to work with several different accessory design teams. I loved this because I met everyone quite quickly. I was also able to see several different design approaches. Designers were approachable, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I, along with the other three interns, organized the vintage closets, created specs for handbags, developed presentation boards for designers, and put together material and colorways.

Been working there for 4 months and the managers are nothing but rude. Repeatedly asked for more shifts as can’t afford rent and have been given nothing. No sympathy whatsoever. Really bad favouritism to certain people despite me doing the same/sometimes better work than them. Uniform standards are held ridiculously high for those they don’t like but slack with the favourites. 

An excellent company to work for, great staff discounts and incentives! The product is amazing! Poor management was hired in early 2017 at the Calvin Klein DFO Brisbane, more than 10 staff members left due to her unprofessionalism and poor management skills. This manager led me to resign as I didn't enjoy working for her, several employees have made formal complaints about this manager.

When first opening the store, the whole casual team was hand picked and trained properly. A day before opening, the store manager was hired, and she lacked any experience or management skills. This caused big issues throughout the whole store, and higher levels of management turned blind eyes to the situation in the store, even when they involved workplace bullying. The manager has since left but the team has dispersed and morale became extremely low.

WHS is terrible! Training is terrible!
Company only cares about money not workers
In store staff are great, CEO and GM are great, upper management will take advantage of you and wouldn't pour water on you if you were on fire, unless it would save them a dollar or two.

If you just want to go in, sell a few clothes and leave its a fine job - if you can make that work for you.

The managers and coworkers are very friendly, which makes it more enjoyable and less stressful to work at the store. I have learnt numerous skills including customer service, stock arranging, product range knowledge and problem solving.

I chose to resign my job predominately due to the new Manager hired and her lack of efficiency. I really did not enjoy my last few months of employment due to poor management. The manager was ineffective and not productive.
