Things to keep in mind: 
- All commission based 
-Hire your own truck for set up and pack down 
-$1000AUD bond 
-If your stick, Manager will just redirect you to the Manuel book 
-You have to sell tree planting promo with every sale you make 
-You need your own storage at home that is sheltered and protected (stock gets delivered to you) 
-You can request stock but 90% of the time it won’t come 
-Be prepared for long longs on your feet 
-Business tends to slow down the first 2 weeks of business and the last 2 weeks after xmas 
-CC withheld the last 2 weeks of your pay until everything is returned back to the warehouse and they have gone through Al your stock 
-unfortunately I lost all my bond money as there was a lot of missing stock (stolen, misplaced, stick error, who knows what) 
-It was honestly not worth all the stress, sleepless nights, long days and short term project 
-I earned way more in my regular job with less stress and I could go home without worrying about anything 
-When you finish work at CC, your days not over, you gotta come home and do ALL the stock for the next day 

There was good and bad things about being a store licensees. If you’re looking for an opportunity where you just punch the clock and do the minimum you won’t do very well. Look elsewhere for something simpler. I’ve run a business before so I got what Calendar Club was about pretty quickly. The way they do things is professional and their concept is well regarded by customers. I liked it. I think it helped that I was well prepared and had a run a small business before. The financial side was in line with what I expected. A four star rating for me.

The Reject shop allowed me to complete my Certificate II in retail with a vocational training placement. I enjoyed my time there and would recommend it to anyone. A typical day started with stocking the store and keeping the store presentable and tidy along with Customer Service throughout the day. The Managers were helpful and respectful. Work culture was excellent and friendly. The hardest part was the heavy lifting and unpacking of pallet work which was tiring but good. Chatting with customers and helping them find their wanted items and seeing to their needs.

This is a commission based contract with excellent rewards if you are prepared to put in the work
It prepares you for any other job as it enables you to report and execute the daily requirements and responsibilities with support from Head Office and the state manager
It enables you the freedom within the company framework to implement variances to how the Kiosk is presented to further enhance the overall experience for the customer to then enable them to make the best decision to purchase often !

Every day you will meet new customers of so many different kinds. Everyone loves calendars and they get so excited finding one that they love. It’s a very happy retail job that built my customer service and entrepreneurial skills and I’m happy I got to run my own business with minimum risk and Calendar Club’s support.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working hard and making a good income.

a typical day is dusty, hot, uncomfortable and very tiring after manually pulling 1.2 tonne pallets onto the shrink wrapper then moving the pallet to its location within the factory. If you are fortunate enough to find somewhere within the factory to put it. This pallet may need to be moved at somestage that day now times that by 20 or 30 pallets every day.

The job is overall was decent. Good pay and very flexible hours. However, I do not recommend this job if you have never had a job before. You are required to work by yourself for most of your shift which can be very stressful as you are also required to put out stock as well as serving customers mostly by yourself. 

I love selling the calendars and keeping my stock full at all times, as there are so many beautiful calendars. I love interacting with all of my customers. The rewards are great but do not like the setting up and Bumping out process

it was a great place to work. and a lot of fun. it was a very good paying job. with a pretty good environment. working their you get quite a few skills like restocking and using a machine because you are the only one their so you learn how to be a cashier. and customer service skills.
