What I did: checked in clients/greeted them as they entered and left, looked after the accounts and finance documents and sent them off to our Finance Department to be paid, general cleaning duties (eg. emptying bins, tidying kitchen).
What I learnt: how to deal with tricky customers and become confident in conversing with them.
The hardest part of my job: learning to manage the high stress of the finance side of it, as well as greeting clients and doing other duties. 
The most enjoyable part: meeting clients and maintaining healthy customer-employee relationships with them.

This organisation are their own worst enemy. From middle management down is where the problem begins. Not up to scratch with modern practices and have people in roles that have been there too long. CEO seems a good man though.  A culture of behind kissing to advance instead of recognising knowledge and results to reward career advancement. Marketing needs decentralising as all ESA differ. Do not recommend

I enjoyed my time at CVGT, I had great personal job satisfaction. Being a certified trainer and assessor I noticed that certain management lacked positive staff training which did reflect in certain situations. Moral was good with excellent team work from 90% of staff who were there for the right reasons.

Left due to work place bullying after the People and Culture team ignored the problems I shared with them. 
The whole team left due to change of management and culture no longer being inline with our personal values

I loved working at CVGT because it was a fantastic first job to get me introduced into the workforce. I had a great time working there and getting the opportunity to help others with disabilities gain employment. 

A very micro managed work place with closed door conversations or back stabbing/ setting up down falls of consultants between consultants, staff and clients/employers.
Underhand activities by area/ site managers to achieving KPI’s at all costs

As an trainee administrator i've had an amazing time learning the ropes, love the people i get to work with. you are valued and you get to help change peoples lives - what more do you want? 

Hope to continue with them in the future! 

Great peers to work with. Very supportive.  Great training provided to new staff and it was very comprehensive. New uniform allowance supplied. 

Flexi hours were not possible which makes it hard if you have a family.

You deal with a lot of difficult people and difficult situations and are not paid very well. Management seems to be terrible with each site and this is a high staff turnover industry. 

Horrible place to work management as they get higher in the ranks are completely devoid of any idea what the staff do in the frontline. 
No support through anything and rarely if ever a chance to progress through the company.
