A good day but hard to get paid sometimes and to communicate with the Boss. Hard to get stock ordered properly, you will send through the stock you need and the boss will look at it and decide that you don't need that amount or certain type of stock and won't order what you put on the order, even though he is in a city 400 miles away and doesn't come to the store or pay attention to the store data base.
I also had to contact the Fair Work Ombudsman(Australia(Fair Pay Comission) to get the company to pay me out my holiday wages I had built up and was entitled to when I quit my job with CTC, it took a month for them to pay me.

Typical shifts range from 3-8 hours
You spend your entire shift working alone.
You have to keep toilet breaks to a “minimum” 
There’s also no rostered breaks where you are allowed to lock the shop and go for 30 mins.

I’ve never felt more like a number than working at CTC. 
You are very replaceable and they make sure that staff know it because if you won’t then someone else will applies.
If you are lucky enough to get a good store manager then the workplace should be tolerable long enough to find another job.
I  am grateful that I worked at CTC because now I know what a toxic workplace is and what to look out for. 

If you’d be better off working in a slow paced, most of the time boring environment it’s for you. 
Long days on your own, not many tasks and difficult flexibility most of the time. 
Rude customers but you’d get that in any smoke shop really, half the time there is a new drama to deal with. 

This company look after you wage wise, are always there to help out, and are there for you if you need any time off. Half hour for lunch, and 2 x 15 min breaks over the morning and afternoon.

Always paid on time, stock always arrives promptly, and probably the most fairest priced cigarettes available in Australia. Couldn't be happier.

Although it was a steady job, your in the shop on your own all day, manager drops in randomly to drop off stock and lets you go to the toilet. your not allowed to shut the store for 15 minutes to go get some lunch. But still they don't supply a fridge or microwave too store or heat your food up.

No breaks minimal staff customers come first only time allowed to shut up shop was to use the toilet management 🙄 was poor needs alot of improvements 

It was good experience that taught me and gave me skill in management. I was able to learn briefly what it is like to stand on your own two feet to create business and sales.

you work alone at this job, sometime it could be good apart from having no breaks. it was sometimes good but being left alone long period of time without a break takes a toll on your body when there is nothing to keep you busy.

no job security, receiving pay on time is an absolute joke, and dont even ask about penalty rates.

the only good part is the customers, although after a while you begin to feel like an unpaid therapist

Responsible for opening and closing of the store, responsible for cash till handling can be repetitive and slow at times, flexible hours, weekend work
