Only ever did 3hr shifts if you're a casual this is all you will receive.. Getting a roster is like getting blood from a stone..  management not happy when you plan your appointments around your shifts as they like to change them frequently. I had 4 roster changes in one week. You will NOT get any training.. you are expected to hit the floor running and know your job from day dot essentially. Regional mangers are rude and don't have any empathy for staff..  they are major on pushing Donations for R U OK but don't put that to play with their own staff. Told you will need to be an octopus to work for them and gave tasks and kpis that were unmanageable in a short period of time. Whatsapp group chat for work will go off more than they should even when you are not working.. hard to get away from work. Staff aren't treated with respect and are belittled in group chats and in store. All around my experience wasn't the best they don't support their staff.. well atleast the store I worked in.. could be the company but upper management aren't great people. Think wisely if you want to work here if you can handle no support and unmanageable tasks. 

Worked 2 years. Ridiculous standards for a mediocre brand. Little hours for most stores, so they end up over working you without paying you for that. They always find something bad to say about your efforts. Even if you've had a great week in sales, the'll try to find something else so you won't feel you've done a good job and that you always have to do more. We are "ALWAYS" the last people in the centre to leave our store when closing, due to the ridiculous standards put by the management team. The only reason why I am still here is because of personal circumstances. I don't understand the mentality of this company! They rather save hours than make budget. They always make you feel worthless by always reminding you that your very lucky to work with them. And they always leave you with the thought that you might get fired at any moment. "You can work for this company and you'll know why I am saying all this". This is only the tip of the needle. Good luck.

A company full of bullies. Here you're treated as nothing more than an assest, whether you're sick and/or injured, you are made to work long hours where you're competing to gain kpi's and tasks amongst your team.
Tasks can be unrealistic to achieve in a normal work day. Manager's set out long lists of tasks which must be completed along with your daily stock drop. 
Manager's LOVE to gossip amongst themselves and other staff members, this is a pretty big issue amongst the NSW team. Manager's also love to play favourite's, so if you were a new ASM and your SM decides they don't like you, your training will be majorly impacted as their attention will turn to their favourite. 
They do support a mental health foundation and offer counselling, however if you do suffer from any MH issues, I'd strongly advise you steer clear of this company entirely. I was doing great in my MH journey until I worked here. 

There is plenty of room to grow in this company. No day is the same and if you enjoy working hard and giving 110% into your work day, this job is certainly rewarding. Development is definitely something you obtain every day in this position and if you're a team player and enjoy working as a team and individually, this is for you. Upper management is supportive and encourages growth. Like any job, you will naturally have to find your grove however once you do, you wont stop. This position isn't just fashion and sales, it entails the business side of the company and makes you feel included and informed on decisions as a whole. It is rewarding because you go home at the end of the day knowing you aid the growth of the company. 

 
                                        

Management differs from person to person.
Pay review/rise isn't a thing.
Room to progress up to a point.
Always busy, expectations are high.
No work/life balance, but get under the right management and no micro management (provided you are doing the right thing).
Managers run the store as their own business; HR, recruitment, admin, coaching/training, personal development, all the way through to running the store and general retail duties.
Culture on a store level can be amazing.

It’s either fast paced or slow paced, management sucks. Hours are based off performance, which is great if you’re high performing, not great if you aren’t. Workplace culture is great. But as far as developing goes your on your own. Your shown basics(script, basic system functions, and coded meanings). More detailed functions your either told when your in that situation leaving you unprepared, or you casually figure it out yourself. Apart from that the job is enjoyable, it’s not complicated once you’re comfortable and confident. Working here has taught me and others to be more independent and self motivated as our commission structure is team and self elevated. 

If you care about KPIs and “pushing your numbers up” then you’ll love this place.

All management cares about is getting more sales then other stores averaged out, adding on items and more. If you don’t push every day to lick the boots of management then you will just get trash hours that it’s literally not worth working there.

You do get 50% off full priced items which is nice, but you can barley use it because everything is usually on sale.

You’ll probably also feel horrible when someone has to return an item because it has to get cut in half and thrown in the bin, even if it’s one tiny thread or one button missing, it all goes to the bin. Everything is so cheaply made that there is usually a few returns a day.

I knew coming in that the store location was less than prime and the company was taking a gamble on it. The store was thrown together and I cleaned it out, styled and organized it in time for the Christmas season. 
The best part of the job was the support from management. I learned so much about working with the Australian public. I enjoyed working with the clients i.e Wive's shopping for their husbands or young men eager to impress for a date. 
I created a team that was fashionable, upbeat with a whole lot of personality. I was confident in them and it showed from an unexpected visit from the Regional manager who met a casual that was excited, quick and looked great wearing the Connor clothing. She was impressed!

Management need a reality check asap! You are pushed to work long hours UNPAID, but when brought to the attention of upper management it would be shut down immediately and the most common response was ‘Hmm maybe you should learn to time manage better’ if expectations were realistic then maybe that would have been a possibility right? You are made to meet KPI dead lines and are constantly being reminded no 3.5 IPT and an AV$ of 85, wave your shifts goodbye! Nothing will ever be enough for this company, you are constantly being over worked and pushed to breaking point. If a cold, personality lacking, fake work environment is what you are looking for, apply for Connor today…

Constant stock coming in so never short of new styles, colours, prints and fabrics.
Mens fashion is a lot more fun, they are willing to try on new styles and colours, they know we are there to help them in whats current fashion. 
always busy doing something whether it be serving customers, doing vm's, training and stocking up. 
Was a fantastic group of people whom i worked with, we all got along great and had fun which in turn made it a great place to come to everyday.
Management was great always willing to help out in any way shape of form weather it be something small to something major.
All in All i would work for this company again if i had the chance.
