I wouldn't recommend this as a place to work. They employed quite a few backpackers for an outbound team, as temporary work for just a couple of months or so. It was the worst working environment I've ever been in. The supervisors acted so superior to us all and treated us so disrespectfully, I felt like they had absolutely no regard for any of us and couldn't have cared less about us. We were replaceable, they looked for any reasons to fire people and were on our back's for the smallest things. 
The role itself is easy enough, outbound sales but there's not decent rewards for actually making sales, all you get is prizes of food. But not decent food, it's cheap noodles and snack bars. There is an incentive to go home early if you meet your target but the target is impossible for most people to achieve, and if you do hit target you're monitored like crazy and they try to find faults in your calls to avoid you going home early. It's not even worth it. 
We were questioned for going on toilet breaks, it's like school.
When it started coming to the end of the 2 months, they didn't need all the staff anymore so people just started receiving calls telling them they weren't needed and not to come back the next day. No warning so that we could look for another job. It's absolutely terrible.
On top of all that, my personal opinion is that the company is a complete rip off and I feel sorry for the customers.

Log in a few minutes early before my shift ready to take the first call. 
It was here that taught me to communicate with the different types of people regardless who they are and where they are. Empathy plays a big part in these role,s helps me build rapport with our customer's. Helping solve their issues and having them return for more business for Chrisco. Our managers, and supervisor's, senior customer service representative's work together to create a warm and friendly working environment. Team building was always a fun part of our week, where we get to talk with our supervisor's and work colleagues to improve work conditions to gain an excellent performance. Excellent performance was rewarded with promotion in other area's of the department.

Call centre operator role - answering inbound calls from customers constantly, taking an average 100 calls per day. Processing refunds via an internal system, processing orders over the phone as well as entering orders into the database which came through mail. Outbound calls to follow up delivery enquiries. The co-workers at Chrisco are very friendly and outgoing. The most enjoyable part of the job was the fact that it was a fast paced role, we constantly received calls one after the other, speaking and forming relationships with customers and this job also gave me the ability to multi-task and improve my skills in all these areas.

The workplace is good for temps, but once you become permanent the atmosphere is not so great. They take advantage of the hard workers, giving them more work because they can and will do it and not giving them any recognition in terms of pay rise. Been there going on 9 years and only ever had 2 pay rises that were both less than 50c extra per hour. They expect you to take on the team leader roles and responsibility but don't pay you accordingly.

The work atmosphere is good and the pay is alright. I was quite happy with my experience there as a temp. It’s good as a temporary job, and you can actually have fun working there.

The location of the office is bad, however. There is also no opportunity for growth working for Chrisco.

Be punctual, work hard, always work well as a team, follow instructions and you would do well. I had a great time working for Chrisco. Because of time of year it was very hot in factory but we would get breaks to cool down, It was just a great place to work.

Chrisco Hampers and the staff were very great to work for, and with. Management were helpful and made it a very enjoyable environment to work in. Hard work was always rewarded, as well as sufficient training received not only by managers and supervisors but also fellow CSR's.

There was Christmas all around, and it was work, work, work like a busy little elf in those offices. I really enjoyed my seasonal time there! Every minute of the day was taken up by assisting customers with their orders, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Loved every minute of it and had many roles .. form picking orders to loading the truck, then being a offsider in the truck to help with the deliverys.. I even did All 3 jobs every day 

Great company, great pay, I loved every moment working. It was very physical and great for fitness. Who needs to go the gym when youre working out at Chrisco. Anyways i love it great company.
