It was my first experience to work in an account payable team and i was very excited. My roles included receving an invoice from other firm and verifying if the services has been provided to these firms before making any payments. In order to do this, i had to chase other department by emailing and calling to confrim that the payment have been made. My area was South Korea and Hong Kong. Other roles included checking expense claim form, such that the expense have incurred while working, as well as the amount incurred is within the limit. Co-workers in an account payable team was very helpful to me, as they all conduct similar work as what i am doing, so when i encountered something i did not know, i did not hesitate to ask my co-workers about my problem.

CA is great place for flexibility for work from either office or home, which you can pretty much decide by yourself in a day. Manger is encourage to support you to work no matter where you are but make sure getting result back each time. It is a bit of luck which product to support with and your life will be along with it.

my case was unfortunate - the product is decided to shut down to EOL within a year and creating outage every 3, 4 times and very complicated system.

Leadership in this organization is terrible.
Line of communication is always terrible and no leadership but there are more managers than tech people although it is called "IT company"

CA is focused on profits and shareholders at the expense of people and quality.

No real career planning unless you push for it.

The people working there made it worth while to stay, but be aware that training remote resources means your skills are going to be off-shored.

A sales focussed company with other depts in support of this goal. Excellent technology but very varied in focus at any one time. Management pleasant to work with.

I had different roles, and it was a long time ago.  Each role was different.

I learned many things as I had many different roles.  Mostly, I learned a lot about IT in general.

Co-workers were many and vast.  Some I got a long with, some I developed good friendships, some I didn't even know their names.

Most enjoyable part was going over to New Orleans for a conference for a week.

They bend over backwards to keep people culturally happy. Bit light on payrises. Management are trigger happy with cutting staff to boost the bottom line. Presently making a massive move employing people from India. (Less money to pay). But i was happy enough there.

A great collaborative culture. The Fed Govt branch were kicking goals way above their size. The Broadcom acquisition of CA destroyed the culture, removed the sales capability. 

Most of the intellectual capital walked out the door. A travesty.

The company has been totally denuded of staff by Broadcom, for their own business purposes, which is fine and their choice, but resulted in more than 80% of CA staff being retrenched or moved.

Enjoyed working there, culture was good and management was great.
Onsite Gym, onsite parking. The only downside was the location and the time it took me to drive through sydney traffic.

Excellent work life balance and super employee engagement .
Nice salary and good environment and well defined policies and great place to work with. I strongly recommend this.
