A typical day at work consisted and regular and scheduled activities for children based around their eating and sleeping schedules. this meant giving food and water to children throughout the day and keeping track of everything for parents who later came to collect their children, having a knowledge of what every child has behaved like during the day even if i have not worked with that child for my whole shift. Making sure i have a fun manner with the children and a professional but friendly relationship with the parents and ensuring that they have all the information that they need during they day too.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing, one time they got us dominos 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Bad management, no idea what was ever going on in nursery, pure chaos 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Lots of negativity, gossiping, no management skill just winging it and hoping for the best, very cold unhelpful manager, bad negative environment, everyone slated busy bees constantly 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Awkward, cold, minimal talking, weird atmosphere

Since joining in 2019 there has been high turn over of staff as management are not supportive with issues that arise within the job role as well as being adaptable when family matters arise. Made to feel guilty if you have time off for illness or family illness or death. Minimum wage with no prospects to advance career. Not paid full overtime amount and never given full hour lunch break.

What is the best part of working at the company?
A Very Supportive Director when needed 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As all Daycares ,Making sure all children are having their needs met ,Morning drop offs are sometimes Hard 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great ,My Center has an amazing team of Educators 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Most Days are Happy Children are funny

Expect you to do the work of a teacher without the pay or time to match, constantly spamming staff over the weekends. You spend more time on the iPads the being a childcare educator and the curriculums they are brining out require the work of a teacher which you are not paid. Constant spamming of iPad alarms, accepting children we don’t have the skill sets to care for and pushing staff limits constantly. 

Focused on negatives, not a lot of advancement opportunities. Have focused on number of staff instead of qualifications. Management do not seem available, Service manager is given a confusing amount of jobs to do and this causes stress to follow down the line of staff members causing an uncomfortable environment.

after working for busy bees for many years i was driven to quit due to poor leadership and management. if there was an ofsted i was not at all confident we would of been able to pass. no respect for staff.

The busy bees at Ilford was very fun and enjoyable as the staff were interactive and made you feel comfortable to be around. Also you are given help to settle in your role so it is a very smooth transition

This company was once good but is now ran by people who arnt childcare minded and just care about the $$ most managers are not ready to be in the positions they are in and the higher management is dismle

greeting parents and children and making sure children feel at home 
creating healthy and nutritious meals and watching a empty tray come back ro kitchen that's reward in itself
