Those who work in the daily operation (those who will tick off your names on arrival, shift allocator) terrible people with no morals and unethical! Good luck getting shifts if you don't give them stuff. They say "no shift is available" yet you will see new drivers joining every week. Mind Games, they are good at it. Those who knows know, those who doesn't, will never know! 

They will give you call in short notices to give you shift, you can't do anything when you're home, all you can do is hold on to your phone and sit down. Because if they called, and you can not do the work or if you didn't pick up their call, well say goodbye to your next 2 to 4 days shifts! When you will then call for work, they will give you either short afternoon shifts or the late finish shifts! If you have a complain, the biggest question is who do you talk to? Depot Manager? He will make fun of you, or blame you! There is no justice there, they in fact discourage you from joining the union! Disgusting!

BIG PROMISES BUT NONE FULFILLED! The air conditions in their buses never works! They don't care because they are not in the front line. they serve terrible regions, passengers are horrible, majority will come up with excuses just not pay. Some will provoke you for no reason! If something happens or goes wrong, the management will blame you no matter whether you are right or wrong. Their biggest weapon is issuing Warning letters. They are good at playing 2 games, Mind game and Blame game! No matter what happens, you will be blamed! Terrible!! I hope someone or something will bring them to justice one day!!

Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere, dont get sucked in their lies.

A typical day of work at Busways involved collaboration with immediate team members and stakeholders.

The work is good though rest breaks are rare. I learned I should work elsewhere. Management are bullies and are not educated enough to do their job. They can’t spell or understand grammar. Drivers are petrified of management. Best part of the job is the public. It’s good fun to help them but do not tell anyone coz you’ll get a written warning for it. Think BWs management despise their passengers as much as they despise their own drivers.  

You will only be employed as a casual Bus Driver . 
When there is a school holidays you will be off for the whole duration.
 
Sometimes Busways will not call you for weeks  and if you are main income earner  than dont apply  for this job go to State Transit. 

Managers are use less as they will call you in for every complaint made by the public and even if you don't sweep you bus they will call you in and use intimidation methods to bully you.

Bus are very old here in Blacktown depot only 20%  have A/c.

In the end dont go and apply  as it is closer to your house remember sometimes  there is no work for months.

Loved working there as a Driver, but no work/life balance what so ever. Definitely would not suggest working here if you are young and have young kids as you will NEVER see them and management will not work with you on finding or changing your roster to accommodate you having more time with your family.

Busways would have to be the worst company I have ever worked for, the mind games from Managers and Executives is really bad.
Unless you worship the ground that some of the managers work on you will always be on the outer.
They promise the world and deliver nothing but stress and disappointment everyday.
There is no work life balance there that is for sure.
You are treat like a low life unless your part of the upper management team.
Please, no matter how bad your life may be or how long you have been out of work, stay away from this revolting company.

Close to home. Like being outdoors. Self employed basically.

No great onroad support. Always being micro managed. No face to face contact with management.

Drivers come and go. No real human like culture, except the occasional BBQ.

Start work early, drive the bus, regular abuse from idiot passengers and too many fare evaders.

There is no best part.  Asked to be proactive but when done treated badly.

Lack of drivers causes stress for office staff.

Women with a voice are not appreciated at all.

Multi tasking 100 things at the same time never enough hours in the day

Upon getting employed you are given all the training you need for the job. All the training is done by the company by all experienced trainers. You are also given on the road training with hands on experience doing a proper shift on actual route. 
There is always training available and time to time are required to do new training which is mandatory for everyone.

Good People, great money, easy comfort work
