In the 4 years I have worked here im proud to say i work for Buildsafe. The company is filled with great people and the management really care about their staff and are very supportive, you feel valued. They provide endless opportunites for growth, upskilling and are continuously looking to improve quality and products. You get rewarded with excellent pay rates, generous bonuses, mid & end of year events and fortnightly morning toolbox BBQ's and much more. It really is a fun-filled, friendly, very passionate working enviroment. Your not only apart of a team - you're family here.  

What is the best part of working at the company?
The wages when they don't play God with our hours 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No work, poor management, bosses favouritism contractors over hourly workers

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Terrible, company only cares about there profits, they promote SAFETY but force workers to work faster and unsafe

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Good when I have my 10hours, very bad when I'm not doing the productivity I'm hired to install and dismantle

I've been working for Buildsafe for a number of months now and I would say this is probably one of the worst jobs I've had. There is no communication between management and staff and office. You have to join the clicks to fit in and get anywhere within buildsafe otherwise they push you out and segregate you from others. Their expections verse what the give is absolutely appalling and I would highly recommend to avoid working for this company.

Poor and incompetent senior management, illegal practices, unsafe practices, bullying and harassment from senior management, the worst culture, very depressing environment, constant revolving door of people coming and going (worst retention rate), no training or development, poor pay rates, no pay reviews, no support or mentoring. Stay away from this organisation at all costs if you value your career and future.

Such a fantastic workplace to be a part of where the management team are extremely supportive and the good times never seem to end. They are really invested in the development of all of their staff and appreciate the hard work that their staff put in through incentives, bonuses and random acts of appreciation. Would highly recommend working at Buildsafe! 

This is a great business to work for. I was part of the operations team and really enjoyed the role i had with the company. Its a fast paced work place with constant innovation at the forefront of everything they do. Very positive experience and i only left as i relocated interstate.

Once you become an installer the earning potential is very decent for what I expected and the type of experience you need. Given that they train you in their particular trademarked systems - once that opportunity arises and you can get to lead a truck you’ll earn $100k
But they work you and get their pound of flesh, so to speak. A bit too much focus on working quickly. Saw horrific injury

If you enjoy working in a crew, can follow direction, have no issues with completing the same tasks at each site...then I would highly recommend this employer.
Salary is above award wages, with very achievable bonuses. 
Long hours though, don't expect to be finished anytime before 5, each day...that's an 11 hour workday... minimum of 50 hours each week.

The pay was good but if you didnt fit in with the other workers you will quickly be made to feel like an outsider and eventually get the sack and if you injure yourself at work they tend to think your making it up and dont offer any support and will be quick to sack you rather than give you time on light duties to recover no overtime rates often 12 hour shifts expected

My only training consisted of a staff member throwing 3 Product Disclosure Statements (thick) I was given 1/2hr in which to absorb the wide & varied guidelines etc then straight onto the phones. I had 10 min training which was on the system only so no fellow staff members to ask questions.
