Bucking Bull

The manager cared more about cleaning the windows than making sure the customers were happy. He never smiled at the customers and made them feel welcome when the rest of the staff tried their best. The woman I had to work with over the holidays wasn't very nice and her expectations were unrealistic, especially since I consider myself quite a hard worker. I did learn some skills, I learnt how to clean properly, but they didn't teach me much about how to serve customers in a suitable manner. My co workers were lovely but whenever they asked the manager for help, he never really knew what he was doing. The hardest part of the job was working for someone who didn't know how to speak English very well, also they had deducted $70 off my paycheck for my uniform which consisted of a scummy old used cap, an apron and a T - Shirt which had clearly been used before, without even informing me about the deduction. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know my co workers a lot better.

3 years ago I work in bucking bull karrinyup  as a kitchen hand and this is my first job in Australia i work 6 days a week . and I learned how to communicate and aw knowledge to my fellow co worker  and we create a team work also I learned how to work under pressure . my manager and my co-worker are like family were always happy. but sometimes  there's a time that were super busy i think that's a hardest part of a job  but we work as a team so we always killed it.
the most enjoyable part of the job is EVERYTHING since my first day till my last day i leave the organization with a smile and full of appreciation .

Working at Bucking Bull was a very good experience, stuff was very friendly and happy to help in any way, over the years I have worked there I have built a strong relationship with all the workers, including my boss. With their help I have learned how to run the restaurant while my boss was absent. I have also learned  how to work in a team and individually, under pressure and to be highly organized. There were days where it would be hard to deal with verbally abusive customers but my co-workers were supportive which made me feel a lot more confident. The most enjoyable part of the job was supporting co-workers and boss.

Everyone was a blast to get along with, the workers were always doing what they needed to do and did their jobs to the best of their abilities. Learning how to cook was the fun part about working out back, and interacting with customers was pretty fun. My manager was loving and caring, and always wanted to help whenever he could. Personally- I couldn't have asked for a more reliable manager. The most enjoyable part of my job was putting a smile on customers faces and being able to help and assist them when necessary.

Super friendly workmates, great atmosphere to work in and overall quite fun.

Some customers are a bit dodgy occasionally, but most of them are really sweet to interact with.

Fun and fast-moving, great place to work.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Serving lots of customers by taking orders and creating meals, cleaning at the end of the day, packing up items, restocking on containers and drinks.

The co-workers at Bucking Bull are amazing, it feels like family. Every body is very diverse and all share the same values resulting in close bonds being established. The owners are understanding and flexible and always want the best for you. The job has taught me many skills both in the kitchen but socially as well. My favourite part is seeing the reaction that my service has on happy customers. The pay is quite low however and the amount of shifts that you receive dwindle.

I loved my job at bucking bull I progressed to manager I only left because I was due to have my son . I enjoyed the staff , I learnt amazing customer service skills and how to upsell. the hardest part of the job was the late nights with the paperwork and stocktake . the staff I hired were amazing staff to work with we always worked professionally but had fun when appropriate to do so

It was a great place to work till I needed to change my hours as I could no longer do opens and closes due to I needed to be home with my kids before and after school then I got no hours at all and when asked why the answer I got was we need to share the Thursday nights Sunday's around didnt even get a chance to do the 9:30 shift when I went in to see my roaster only to find i hadbeen taken off a completely been taken off no warning or anything

When working at Bucking Bull, it was hard to feel accepted, though work is not a place for you to have fun and slack around, it is ideal to want to work in an environment where you feel free and generally happy, the staff were strict as they should be but not willing to help when needed.

This job was a good challenge, with opportunites for advancement if wanted. Atypical day consist of customer service, food prep for all meals, cooking of roast and vegetables, as well as fryer and grill cooking - burgers,breakfast menu and fish and chips.my co-workers and boss were a pleasure to work with.
