1) Arrive at work @ 0500, compile reports etc from previous day.
2) Pre- Start Instructions, scope of works for the day, highlighting the Weekly Plan, and maybe adjust if Breakdowns, and/or un-foreseen circumstances.
3) Supervision/parts ordering/maintaining a smooth and safe working day.
4) Quick decision making if a breakdown of heavy plant.
(I have a very strong working relationship with Local suppliers)
5) Normally last to leave the site, after quick inspection of machines which have returned from the field.

En forcing Continuous Improvement to the benefits of House keeping and Safety; have had the same team for my time @ Bellamack.

The Hardest Part of the job:

The hold up of parts from some suppliers, (ex East etc)

The most enjoyable part of the job:

Achieving a strong Planned Maintenance week and earning "Top Site" for Monthly Key Performance Indicators. (KPIs).

Push beyond the limits to achieve a safe positive outcome.

Site inspections with clients , environmental reports , liaising with operators and local indigenous staff throughout the day . Engineering side- compacting tests , inspections with Water Corp and local Shires ,. Constant contact with management on progress with local staff and reporting on environmental issues. work very well with co-workers , very receptive and  are willing to adapt to change to comply with RIO requirements. Being away from my family is the hardest part of the job. To see the satisfaction on th clients and staff alike when they progress in the their job

I thoroughly enjoyed my roles as both Trainer and Work shop Manager, 

I enjoyed the pressures and maintenance matters during my role.

loading trucks   and general loader duties ,you keep learning every day and new challenges arrive we overcome them, a very good bunch of people to work with. Not knowing where the next job was  or if I still had employment .

Working with brierty was a great workplace for learning I got to work on all types of equipment and vehicles. I got to work in a team when I got to go to sites from Mandurah to collie.

I use to look forward to going to work,there was never a day i didn,t want to go. Every day was different and challenging.Over the time that i was there i learnt so much. I would return to Briertys if the opportunty ever became available

Brierty was an excellent company to work for I was treated ethically and honestly. In my position as Safety Lead I was given complete autonomy to act dealing with the client and EPCM.

12hr day shifts, 4n1 roster.
I learnt how to work as a team.
Management were well organised as we were always productive.
Great team environment 
Working away from home and family was hard mentally.
Enjoyed seeing my work completed.
