Typical day at work included merchandising the store and customer service. On a typical day i would walk into work unsure if i would get into trouble if the team made a small mistake or if i had accidentally made a mistake with the lack of guidance given. I believe I learned that it's not always about your successes that can help you shine it's whether or not they think you can be the best friend to upper management, even if your team is suffering because no one will listen. Management: They chose the current manager at Rockingham because she was older and had more management experience. The management at Rockingham is toxic towards younger staff that are below 30. The manager would always try to find a way to fault my work and when she couldn't it would fall to the team. The manager was rude and unprofessional towards customer she did not like or did not feel like serving customers at all and would rather sit on her phone and scroll Facebook. The hardest part of my job was trying the navigate the mine field that is the current managers emotional state. The most enjoyable part of my job was helping the customers find what was right for them and giving the best experience possible.

Just depends on management 
I have always had trouble with the clocking in and out system very hard to work your life around Bnt. If you have kids or study it is very difficult to work around, they don't give you much notice if you are called in however you have to give a months notice for any type of leave you have (if you even get it)
The work place can get very clique-y and this can become very stressful. This job has not been the greatest for my mental health. You can make some great friends despite this. The turn over has always been very high because some people are not strong enough to handle the constant stress of working here. Area managers can get away with belittling you on the phone and will not reply to emails or written replies because then you will have 'evidence'. I guess this can be with any company. As far as the motto: "empowering women to feel fabulous always!" goes? This does not reflect the work environment that is created while here at times.

I worked for this company as a store manager for a year before leaving.  

As a manager you are promised a bonus if your store makes its quarterly target, my store did just that. However, I was not given my bonus as they waiting until my 5 weeks notice was over to hand them out. The area managers are rude, do little work and won’t help you. They call you at three in the morning to get shifts covered and accuse you of things when they can’t be bothered to investigate further. They do not answer their phones when you need them and RARELY get your pay correct. You are told to accept or decline shifts before you start so they do not need to pay you overtime for working your days off. 
Not to mention the bras are cheaply made and can cost as little as 1cent to the $1 profit. 

I would NEVER recommend this company as a workplace.

I have loved working here, I really enjoy it and have learnt a lot about bras and bra fittings as well as visual merchandising. I have gained great sales skills and met a lot of lovely people, I like everyone I work with. A typical day looks like serving customers, providing bra fitting, completing visual merchandising updates, receiving stock and putting away, steaming, any online training that needs to be completed, trying on items to be able to inform customers of how they fit and the re hang of items customers have tried on. It is a great workplace culture where you feel a sense of belonging and appreciation. Great work/life balance, however I wish there were more hours. Other than that, I can't fault it. It's a great job where you can help support women in feeling comfortable in their bodies and providing pleasant experiences. 

Great discounts off products, a good start to your first retail job. Hardest part was reaching budget.  Workplace culture - alright, could be challenging due to constant need to reach budget and sell incentives. Members are supportive when you make huge sales. Upper management - depending on the area manager you have, you could receive responses about your inquiry but other than that they might not respond and communication follows a top down structure. Personally due to a lack of training, it was quite a rough start and manager did not provide much training thus had to learn alot by myself. Fortunately there appears to be more training sessions for new employees and with monthly training, there would be sufficient training to keep employees on top of things. 

A typical day at Bras N Things would be greeting, engaging and assisting customers as well as handling and organising stock. During this time I have learned how organise and display visual merchandise at Bras N Things and how to do fittings. Management at Bras N Things had strong communication within their work and always striving to make a women feel beautiful from the inside out! Their friendly workplace culture made not only the team comfortable but customers as well. 
There were never any hard parts about working at Bras N Things, however, there were times that were easier than others. The most enjoyable part of working at Bras N Things was meeting new customers everyday and finding out what they need to shop for, whether it was a 50th year anniversary party or a wedding over the weekend. Everyday was different and it was exciting!

The workplace culture at Bras'n'Things is overall fun and easy to engage in. The hardest part of the job is pleasing every customer as they come in various shapes and sizes. The most enjoyable part of the job seeing customers who may be a little more difficult to fit find the ideal lingerie to suit their needs and seeing them leave happy, then return to the store when they need to buy more. The management there is excellent, the Managers strive to meet customer and staff expectations. They do this by providing a safe space for women to shop and work where they never feel uncomfortable and are happy to spend time and money. From working there I learnt so much about KPI's and store operations, it was a great experience.

Different store location will have different working environment. I have worked in smaller store and also flagship stores. Nevertheless, I have never had any bad experience with any of the stores in terms of the team members and management. In a flagship store, there is a lot of foot traffic thus being one of the most busier store. Every single store has its differences when it comes to hardest part of the job, but for a flagship store it would be getting task done on time due to the foot traffic and busyness of the store. Otherwise the most enjoyable part of the job is getting to know different people from different walks of life and the energetic atmosphere of the workplace.

Things were fine at bras n things until after you pass the 6 week review after that they deem you competent in the roll and as a new person all short comings and issues fall to you as a scapegoat for management. Your roster is dictated by an area manager so if you don't fit in with the people in your store you are basically pushed to the side your contract shifts mean nothing they got changed almost immediately you will be made to basically parade yourself and force things down people's throats and if you don't perform they have a go at you if the store does bad the people who have been there years blame you as the new person wouldn't not recommend at all bad mental environment

Bras N Things are a great company who provide extensive training and management, I have learned may things such as visual merchandising, admin roles and management skills to manage a flagship store.

The hardest part of the job is emotionally connecting with women who don't feel confident within themselves, working at Bras N Things has made me become more understanding and taught me how to sympathies with many individuals.

The best part of the job is would have to be working among amazing strong women who push each other to be the best personal people we can be.
