the day starts at 7am were I open up the warehouse & help the customers that have arrived to pick up there orders, then I start up the computers & check the printer for the days picking jobs & organise them for the day ahead when the team arrives, I then deal with the couriers that start to arrive with the days delivery of inwards goods & also deal with couriers with outwards goods. when the team arrives I get them started & then go to customer service to check on orders that maybe urgent or have special requests on them. at the end of the day I help with dispatches & load the truck then when all deliveries are loaded & truck have left I close the warehouse and go home around 5-6pm.this is a typical day.

My first 15 years was with the automotive division, 40,000 part numbers thirteen different product catalogues calling on auto electricians and mechanics and trade stores
mutliple layers to the role selling in to direct accounts, creating the pull thru from auto electricians and mechanics, training customers on the product range, putting together marketing plans, sales fliers, promotions.

the last 10 years with the hot water division in a sales, marketing, training role with trade stores, plumbers, again many levels to the role, demanding but very enjoyable

- All works requires an highly focus and technical skill and initiates
- Always many new things to learn and apply such as safety, 5S,  Quality & quantity, Delivery in time, technology and so on
- Management focus highly on health & safety, product quality, project & task delivery, Cost reduction,
- To meet expected targets (Quantity, Quality, safety, delivery time, low cost) are interesting challenge
- Hi-tech equipment and state of the art laboratory in place, A good place to learn, work and develop more skills and experience.

The Senior Leadership until 2015 was excellent and I was rewarded for my hard work , intelligence and high levels of achievement.
I was given the opportunity to manage the Regional Procurement function and did so for 6 years where my team smashed all targets.


Typical overseas managed international company with heavy management structure and little or no understanding of the Australian market requirements.
Very toxic workplace culture which results in a very high people turnover every year.
Most of the managers are inexperienced or have no management qualifications and most of the floor people struggle in their duties due to mostly deficient link between departments.


Robert Bosch is a clean environment, it's a great place to work for. I am very proud to work for Robert Bosch. I've had learned a lot of experiences from one machine to another and from this department to the other. We're always work as a team work. The hardest part of the job is always try to concentrate on 100% no rework parts. The most enjoyable part of the job is a team work.

The bosses are fantastic, very supportive and they look after you.  If you have any concerns etc, they are only a phone call away and will help.

This is a very productive and innovative company with excellent, good quality products.  Bosch has a very good name in the market place and is very well known.

Bosch cares about its employees and still holds values established by the founder Robert Bosch. 
The company has a strong training regime and has innovation as its backbone. 
Great people, great product, great company.

To many individuals that think they are special, they do have some great people, but that is not important to Bosch Rexroth, they are happy to dismiss any employee. No rewards for efforts, mostly communications with management are when there are issues only.

Very happy not to be working with Rexroth anymore.
