Head office management is awful, they expect staff to work extra for nothing in return. Running the company on fear and scrutiny. Using every loop hole to not pay overtime, weekend/public holiday penalty rates, sick or holiday pay. Overall Head office don't seem to respect their employees and are only out to make more money for themselves. Customers can do what they wish as long as they complain even if they are in the wrong. 

However the teams within each store are great. They have a family dynamic and everyone gets on, meeting outside of work times, establishing life long friendships.

The owners have really productive rules and policies in place which is only benefited to the company and the customers. 
No one in the team cares about their employees.

Managing Partner of one of the store is not very effective and does not care about the team.  The head of the managing partners is hard to reach too. You will end up stress and upset as the work environment is not very healthy.

My first job in Australia and I stayed here for the entire 6 months that I'm allowed by my visa. I worked as a waiter and bartender. When waiting there was about 16 steps of service that needed to be followed at each table, which was on busy days very challenging. But it gave the job a sort of meaning, it was never lazy and time always flew by.

The restaurant can offer only short shifts as usually doesn't get busy and if it's quiet after 2 hours they just send you home. Would not offer to anyone to have it as a primary job, maybe it's good only as a second job to have couple evening shifts and also if you live around otherwise if they send you home it becomes not worth

The place is fun to work but only hard to meet the requirement from the top. Most of the crew take time learning the new skill in the workplace but always shut down by not having enough hours. For instance, they just worked, but only get 1 shift a week, how do we expect them to learn?

My experience with the company was really fun.
i got to learn many things about what all things are required to run such a chain of restaurants. The workplace had people from various parts of the world which helped me to understand various food cultures all over the globe.

always stressful to work in bondi but i have learned a lot . workplace is good but some people are not respectfull. hardest part of the job is working without any food or drinks and not getting extra payment in weekend and public holiday . 

Waitressing was fast paced as expected, and team members were good to work with and supportive.  However, being a restaurant the hours were very irregular and pay was quite low.

It was fun working there as I had opportunity to practice  english with my colleagues. It was also very stressfull place when it was busy. But I liked the environment.

Its like any other hospitality job. Quick staff turn over which doesn't allow you to develop a strong team. Very structured environment and targets set for each employee.
