Worked a long time here and found myself liking the job for its team members and loyal customers that love the coffee and service from Bonbons Bakery. However the current area manager is very bad she only rosters you on base on favouritism and age. If you're cheap you'll get weekend shifts so that it favours her budget and you get more hours if she likes you. Most of the time your hard work goes unnoticed because she just finds things to criticize and doesn't really give a f about anything else besides making sales and taking all the credit for it. She always insists on "take on any issues with her to her and she will be understanding" but when she does receive equal treatment and fair criticisms for not keeping the store clean when she works she takes it personally and write a list of things trying to attack us on how bad we work even though it has nothing to do with her uncleaniness and laziness? She also does not take sick leaves well either most of the time, she expects you to go to work dying from sickness if you can't find anyone to cover your shift. Main reason why I left was because of her really poor management in managing her workers. She may have done an exceptional job at bringing up sales but her relationship with all of her workers from every store she's managed is really bad and hence would not recommend working there at all. Well more if you work for Doncaster, Fountain Gate and Southland so far.

Would not recommend going through this for anyone. Even though the CEO, Owner and his wife Head Manager are awesome! This area manager really does make it hard for all of us. Good riddance.

As I started in Bonbons was a shop assistant, early last year, for some reason they baker couple has an accident, as a result to quit. As baker is difficult to employ, therefore I agree to try and help until they found a right person.  During this period of time, I learn how to be a baker from sketch. It's a very memorable journey for my life.

Unsable time,not exactly like what its on roster,somtimes you have to finish so late even when you dont want to.I feel like salary isnt fair for experienced workers And Non experienced Workers.During busy period, its so stressful because not enough worker,you have to push yourself so hard to finish the job.Everythings doesnt follow on the rules.

loved the job, hated some coworkers. some will literally treat you like you're mentally disabled and are condescending when you're only on day 3 of your job. ridiculous and disgusting. but i guess that's any job. 

Good cash for university student. 
Fun environments with lovely teammates and nice owner. Highly recommended if you want to be a baker. 
Protective, supportive and friendly environment. All rounded and not automatic job. 

Overall a good place to start as a student, minimum wages and they don't pay penalty or overtime. Work can get quite busy and repetitive but colleagues are nice 

The place is well organize, colleagues are friendly and willing to teach. Good opportunity to learn thing. The wages is pay by cash with lower than legal minimum wages in VIC .

Bonbons Bakery was a productive and bust environment which helped me to grow as a fast paced worker and enhanced my time management skills and customer handling.

Work here for a couple months before covid hits. I love the boss she is a kind person. The pay rate is low because it s just a small business owning the shop. Love the team members. 

Typical day was alright worked at front with costumer. Pay was below minimum but was a fun and easy job. Co woke ré were somewhat nice expect it varies.
