I start my day by looking up on the workorder what is left for me to do from the last shift,checking if all the their work was stamped completed. Making sure every detail is in the right order and nothing in the job is non-conformance then know where to resume. 
All the people are busy right off at the start except those with a bit of issues in their job and discussing with inspectors how to go about. A few trying to chase some material and tools needed or replacement materials reported defective from the last shift. 
Supervisors going around giving support and lifting up spirits with encouraging remarks and jokes making sure everything are in good shape and running smooth. Else emergency meetings are in place to  inform so as to sort out and to educate the team and the floor.
Everyone are friendly and jolly. except a few who prefers to work alone and engrossed in his own world and just left them to themselves. But everyone are accountable for their jobs.
I learned to adapt to different situations with the team or just alone.
in times of ease and in times of crises. Anyway, the support groups ( supervisors and inspectors) are always there to ease out any creases. 
The most enjoyable part of the job is when we receive commendations for a job well done or when we exceed some expectations and we are rewarded with a free dinner and awards by the management.
I can not leave my family here in Sydney for some personal reasons else I would still work for the company in Melbourne.

Lots of people have been here for decades, but if you are keen on career advancement in the next two to three years, then now is not the right time to join this company.
Some teams are highly collaborative and professional, but that culture is not true across all the areas. Some teams have very toxic cultures.
There is endless bureaucracy at the global level, with even minor, low-risk approvals and decisions having to be made by the US or with US sign off. If you are highly skilled and used to working autonomously, you will feel less than empowered with all the useless US oversight on your work.
Because of the 737 MAX grounding and the COVID pandemic, the company has not been able to be as generous in giving out bonuses and salary increases as it used to in pre-2019 years.

Everyday at Boeing is fun and the working environment is excellent and full of friendly people.At Boeing is non-stop learning. Everyday you learn something, you will get educated at Boeing once you're employed.The management is supportive to employees and they keep us up to date in all aspects like day to day work, productivity and efficiency, EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) company status, technology, time flexibility, what is happening currently and what lies ahead in the future. The management overall is superb. We are one big family at Boeing Aerostructures Australia.The hardest part of the job is when you are trying meet the target or schedule problem arises unexpectedly and the most enjoyable part of the job is when everything is on schedule everybody is happy and having a good laugh.

I enjoyed working for this company for the hole of the 26 years I have worked in and around in other areas. Problem solving was at times tedious and challenging with new projects but I always felt good working with the managers and team members with keeping up with our high quality standards in making things happen.
I have always felt that there are good jobs and bad jobs, either way a job was a job and it had to be done and in the electroplating industry the work was never always a fresh new machined part that only needed a quarter of the time from start to finish, there was work with rust and paint that had to be removed and cleaned up before the plating process, but at the completion of the job it was always rewarding to see the finished product and results.

Boeing overall is good. Certain projects in BDA need to be shutdown and restarted with new crew as its very much a "jobs for the boys" environment with untrustworthy and unskilled people becoming employed and promoted to management roles.
Complaints of unethical behaviour were ignored by HR department and "reorganisations" took place regularly to make the complainants redundant.
Despite the big facade of no tolerance for harassment and bullying, ethics etc at the end of the day you are just another cog in the big machine and when you get squeaky they replace you rather than performing the preventative maintenance.
Almost my worst experience in 40 years of my career - I would never work for Boeing Defence Australia again.

Fantastic company to work for in general, very interesting work although being a production facility can get a little repetitive at times. Boeing is a company that does a lot of its training in house with exception of ohs and first aid so there are plenty of opportunity for higher learning and advancement.
As with any large company i believe there are to many levels of management and the lower level managers always seem like they have something to prove.
I would say Boeing has a very old engrained workplace culture which is difficult to change.
The most enjoyable part of my job was knowing i contributed to making aerospace history on a daily basis.

Manages, develops & motivates employees.Engages the team to promote innovation toward creating new value opportunities & increased productivity.

I have seen the good and the bad being involved in many projects. My most recent experience at Amberley in the ACEA team showed me the worst of this company.

Management have created a culture where employees feel they cannot speak up for fear of reprisal. They are not wrong, because whenever someone does speak up they are immediately shot down in flames and very publicly. Some employees have left because this behavior became targeted and persistent towards them and bordered on harassment. Others who remain get by by keeping their heads down.

Leaders of this team were not worthy of the title.

A typical day would range from providing High Frequency Communications to developing or delivering training.

I learned to develop closer relations with people who had different experiences than I did and learned a great deal from them. This allowed me to approach things differently.

Management allowed us to perform our job to the best of our ability and were open to suggestions on how things may be done differently or better.

The hardest part of the job was to adapt training to different levels of defence and communications experience.

The most enjoyable part of the job was to see people put into practice what they had learned and be successful.

Boeing has a very honest and open culture where everyone is encouraged to be their best and given support to achieve this. 
The site has many hazards that must be managed such as dangerous goods, robotics, major planned & unplanned maintenance involving working at heights, LOTO, restricted spaces, traffic management, commissioning,ergonomics for example. Currently there is major construction work also , 
EHS is taken seriously, not just given lip service and has a budget to ensure this is the case.
