Its great working for Blys as the hours are completely flexible to work around any lifestyle. The staff are always at hand to help if there are any problems and the owner of the company is not just some mysterious figure no one ever hears from, he is always contactable in some way if there are any issues that need to be discussed. 

There is always more of an open and relaxed atmosphere between staff and the occassional social event for therapists to meet and greet each other. 

On any normal day I would accept 1 or 2 jobs ranging from 1 hr to 1.5 hr session. I usually would have a few hours notice to get myself ready which is convenient. Finding parking is not an issue 95% of the time, but sometimes you can get caught out (especially in the CBD) and you may have  to walk a fair way to get to the client. 

The best part of the job is travelling to new locations, meeting new people and seeing how happy they are with the service they have received. A lot of clients have never had a massage in their own homes before finding Blys and they absolutely love the idea, they are also impressed by the ease of the online booking system.

- A hands on and accessible Founder and Director who is professional and consultative in his approach.   

You have to be super quick in accepting the jobs :) - can miss a job if you aren't sure of the location and want to look it up before accepting and deciding on the travel time and distance (by which time it's already taken). Having said that it's not their problem as there are many therapists waiting to take jobs and may know the location.

Every day looks a little different. The work varies day-to-day depending on priorities, which keeps it interesting and engaging. The office location is fantastic and has awesome ammenities – collaborative spaces, quiet areas, lounges, televisions, kitchens with complimentary food and drinks. The team is on the smaller side, but lends itself to the community-oriented and supportive nature of it. You feel important and valued working as a part of this team. 

The hardest part of the job is keeping up with the fast-paced world of the tech, wellness and start-up space. Pressure can be high and the workload can be heavy, but since Blys provides an excellent work-life balance and the team is supportive, you rarely feel burnt out or overly stressed.

Laid-back, positive and enthusiastic is how I could describe the team's culture. We are constantly learning from one another and this makes our collaboration efforts solid and successful. It's not all work, too – office banter and chit-chats keeps it light-hearted and we remain motivated and focused on our goals.

I have been with Blys for about 4 months now, and I was able to quit my other job to work with them full time! I love having the flexibility of working whenever I am available or feel like it. I am my own boss, and I can make as little or as much money as I would like to. I can take as many or as few jobs each day with no expectations from Blys. They make every step so easy. They handle all of the advertising, bookings, and payments with the clients so that I can simply focus on doing my job and giving my clients the best massage. I also love the Blys Team! They have so many amazing therapists I can learn from, a fantastic operations team that make each job so easy, and a really nice owner who's always there to answer any questions I may have or take any feedback I can think of. I love working with Blys, and I feel really lucky I found them here in Sydney!

I have been with Blys for over a year now, and work part – time or when my schedule allows. In other words, when I need more work I just accept jobs via the amazing app and when I need to have some down time I do less.

The many therapists whom you get to meet occasionally are all highly trained and accredited practitioners, so you know the company you work with are of high integrity and professionalism. 

You can choose to do Corporate, Pregnancy, Swedish, Remedial etc, it’s up to you.I really like doing Corporate and Swedish personally.

 If you are an accredited practitioner and are looking to work with an amazing company, I highly recommend you get in touch with these guys.

I have worked as a contract therapist for Blys for 18 months. I love it. My hours work around my private clients and family life and I have some great regular clients that love to welcome me back. Meeting new clients and hearing how they appreciate the mobile service we offer is rewarding. Any time I have a question about the way something is conducted inhouse, I get the solution. Blys is a progressive company that strives for excellence and providing a great place to work for the staff and contractors like myself. Their rates are competitive and I believe the payment is good. I'm glad I joined Blys as a remedial therapist.

I've been working at Blys from the very beginning. Massage business is not easy! They have to deal with a lot. Website, development of the app, advertising, hiring good therapists, difficult or unreasonable clients, bookings 24h a day, and so on... Despite all of that, I'm very impressed with the work they are doing and since I can compare them at least two other companies I work/worked for, they are definitely the best! They are very easy to deal with and will address any issues you may come across very fast. 
If you are a good therapist and want to pick some extra work and $, I definitely recommend them.

Pros
I have been with Blys for only a short time so far, and I must say they are amazing to work for. I have not had any issues with the amazing office staff and they are always there to help if need. I also love the uber set up for the appointments and the fact the office will do a check on you after you have completed an appointment if they do not see your vehicle moving on the app. 

Cons
Only con I can think of at the moment, is that at the moment appointments are a little slow, But this is also that time of the year that massage appointments slow down. So this is really not a con for Blys.

I think it's a nice place to work with and expend your massage and wellness experience in a professional environment. Team member's are good and easy to communicate through tool-free numbers! I personally feel after hour emergency number would be a great additional help for the therapist's, however Blys team members always reach you first thing in the morning if any drama so it's not a big deal! Overall its a great place to work with also, the management team's are really very helpful!

Since joining Blys about 4 years ago, I have had the opportunity to work work many wonderful clients; 
Work with great therapists;
And occasionally meet up with the management. 
I've felt comfortable with the owner and staff to have open and honest conversations about procedures, payment and so-on. 
I've always left feeling listened to and confident that this company is a good one to work for.
I'd highly recommend Blys for any massage therapist to work for, and adding additional income at times. After saying that, it can not be relied upon as a regular source of income, so a therapist will need to find something else in my opinion.
